I really like the richness the antique wax gives to the black paint. Both projects turned out great! The falling apart table was a great find. The legs are great as candle sticks.
I couldn't believe I saw them before they threw it away. It was meant to come home with me. 💕

Shelley I never get lucky and find broken tables let alone spindles ! Great score!!! I LOVE that wallpaper border used as pictures. And I've never considered putting the antique wax on black paint but it does give it a different look. Everything is so beautifully rustic, love it!

Well I have yet to find any wall paper border and there you have more. And I have been on the search for two turned legs for a pretty big project. You know I am jealous!...😆 Your projects all turned out so cute!
It just falls into my lap sometimes. Luckily friends know I love using it. I have so much. Definitely willing to send you some. I will email with some different ones I have.

I NEED a table sander......I see yours is a WEN, I like that brand, so I'm setting my sights on this one! LOL. Love all your projects by the way🤩 I had an idea about the cut off piece of the table legs: those would make cute but simple little bird houses by adding a pitched roof and a little perch, wouldn't they?Thanks for sharing!

How do the candlesticks do, standing up with a big candle on top? The base looked like it might be a bit too small and could tip over, but that could be the camera and my small screen on this little laptop.
