Hello Friends,
I'm Shelly and I like to Rescue, Renew and Repurpose new and used items. They could be destined to go to the trash pile, give away, yard sale or from a thrift store. I usually can see something different in the items and bring out a new beauty in them.
Currently, I live Off Grid in Maine on 12 acres with my Husband of 30+ years. Chickens are our animals of choice at the moment, but you never know what may be next. We started a channel on CZcams called *Whiskey n Sunshine Off Grid* for gardening and Homesteading ideas, But I wanted to share my passion for Repurposing My Way separate from that channel.
I love being creative and sharing my ideas to help people find renewed love for their old tired items.

PRIMITIVE Thrifted FLIP with GRUBBY Mix HACK- Salvaged Cupboard
Primitive thrift flips are one of my favorites to do. This great Goodwill find was the perfect DIY for an old distressed look. I show how I use petroleum jelly to create a resistance to the paint giving my wood project a distressed look and using grubby mix hack to get a cool rusted effect. I also, show how I package and create labels for the new soap line I will sell in my booth. I rescued an oak cabinet that needed a little TLC, cleaned it up and it looks good as new. #trashtotreasure #salvage #upcycle #repurpose #grubbymix #hack

I didn't like the look of it. Maybe another design would have looked better.

I dunno how I missed this video, but I absolutely love the STUNNING mirrors made with the one spring release item that I was able to afford! I plan to get the apothecary stamps when they are back in stock and maybe one of the riser transfers. I love the bird cage stamp and grain sack stamp, but I rarely use all of the stamps that I have, so I must behave ...lol😂😂😂
