Upcycled Primitive Home Decor | Good Things Are Happening!

- When fixing up my booth I find items that need glue or to be fixed in some way and I will bring it home to fix it. The cloche I had needed glue, so I decided to give it a makeover while I had it at home. Primitive decor is my favorite to do and it sells well, so I added a cute little rooster for a topper on the cloche, a grubby candle, and some pip berries to make some cute home decor. I am always looking to use some springs I found on our property. So when I found these owls, I thought they would be so cute sitting on them. A little paint and pip berries made these so cute for a touch of whimsy in decor. A new building showed up at my local transfer station to put unwanted, but good items to get rid of in. I usually find free stuff to redo or put in my booth and this will be great under cover and kept clean.

The rooster made such a difference to the cloche and the owls on the springs were lovely how nice to have the ' free shed ' wish there was one near me ! the baking / serving dish was beautiful and a great find 🥰

Great finds! Love that your dump is recycling! Your videos are the best! I love both the cloche and the owls. I just did a basket I found at Goodwill. It was Shelly inspired!

Great finds at your free shed. The temptation cookware is really nice. I use mine often. The rooster really set off the cloche. Amazing what some black paint will do to change the entire aesthetic of an item. I actually have those Rusty star pip berry candle rings. I have had them a long time.I have them in galvanized house lanterns with a flameless candle. Have a great week. 😊
I had never heard of the temptations cookware before the other day. I love that they come with a lid to put in fridge and can be used to bake with. So useful.

It's wonderful that things are now well protected from the weather; as are people looking for items. Love your items today. In response to the comment about people tossing out new or nearly new items - it's very possible they tried to donate, or give to a crafter but either didn't have any way to get them to Goodwill etc. or don't know crafters. It is very difficult to clear out items - speak from experience. Get to a point toss it to get rooms and garage cleaned out.
That is a great point. It is amazing how much gets thrown away. I am glad we have a place to share unwanted items.

What on earth!!? That’s the nicest “dump” I’ve ever seen. Nothing like that around here. Sadly, people often dump out their stuff on the side of the road.

That rooster really made the cloche. And the owl's looked so cute on the springs. Our landfill will not let you take anything out. That is so nice to see not all are that way!

I like to use the matte mod podge. There is very little shine, which is how I prefer it.

@RepurposedMyWay I received a fancy bowl for a gift and doing research on it. I saw the brand on QVC. We used to have an outlet store and even the clearance price on Temptations was high!!!! Beautiful but expensive. B
