1: Ozone never fainted at any point
2: he only had (in total), castform, mudkip, zizagoon, latias, and kyogre. All of them from different locations
3: the only Pokemon he actually used was nicknamed
Edit: man this reply section has turned into a war zone. To all the people going “Um actually” and pointing at the quote unquote “rest of his team”, no that is not an excuse. Ozone was the only pokemon he actually used, minus a few exceptions where he had no choice. And even in those cases, he did everything in his power to not *actually* use them.

Weather ball has his power duplicated when the Castform is in one of the other types make it a 100 base power move which is stronger than a Surf. You could almost one shot everything but I would consider you forget that
Castform doesn't get a sandstorm (Or any other weather form beyond what it has) for a few reasons
1) It's based on a water molecule with it's three weather forms being based on the three states of matter (Solid for Ice, Liquid for water and fire for gas)
2) It's a teruteru Bozu doll a small paper doll that looks like a typical halloween ghost decoration. in japanese culture, these dolls are made to wish for good weather and, by hanging the doll upside down, wish for rain.
3) It's a pun on the phrase "Rain, hail or shine" an idiom that means something will happen whatever the weather. (an example of this idiom in use is: "Due to our large convention centre at school, the sports carnival will happen rain, hail or shine.") This is a double pun due to the fact that castform can change it's form to adapt to the environment and will battle WEATHER you like it or not.
what about Plasma for electricity? Weather can include Electricity of environment: Spark, Lightning and Thunder.

If you heat it up more, then it will become a plasma after the bonds break and it becomes individual oxygen and hydrogen atoms. So you can make something in the plasma state from a water molecule but at that point, it really isn't water anymore. So you're both half right and half wrong.

@@connaeris8230 But that isn't just dependent on the difference in base speed, you also have to factor in level difference, IVs, EVs and natures.
Without stat boosting items/moves absolute best case scenario Raichu at level 52 has 184 speed, absolute worst case Raichu at the same level has 107 speed. 77 is a massive range.
Castform may not be the best design to many, but on the day you finished this video, you proved that Castform was far from the weakest thing around, you had a dream and you accomplished your mission, Castforms around the world are certainly proud of your grand achievement. Great Job Mikey

I’m not terribly good at Pokémon, myself, so I would probably take 4 Castform, one for each of the three elemental types and one to act as the Normal type.
Heads up, weather ball actually doubles power in the rain, sun, or hail, making it effectively 100 base power, kind of like castforms version of judgment
It's a 100 powered, stab boosted, weather boosted attack with perfect accuracy. Sure, other moves can out-perform them in terms of damage, but it has much more viability

Ive also done rattata only (no items) in fire red which actully turned into nuzlock like this i love rattata after that

The great thing with Castform is when you set up rain/sun/hail it's type changes as well so your moves get a boost from the weather and from your type so damage better to make up for it's stats

Not having a sandstorm form actually makes sense to me. It’s not technically “weather” it’s just sand being blown around.
Castform's weather forms are based around the water cycle too. Evaporation, precipitation, condensation. Sandstorms have zero place in this concept so I wish everyone could just stop demanding it and move on.

Random “fact”: everyone says Castform is based on a water molecule because of its general shape and Forecast ability. I totally agree with that, BUT if you look at Castform from the back you’ll see it has a third little bump on its stomach. So, if we take that as being another hydrogen atom, technically Castform more closely resembles a hydronium cation than it does a normal water molecule.

It's not true, actually. Weather Ball's power changes to 100 when used under a climate (not counting stab or weather boost). So a fire type Weather Ball is stronger than a Flamethrower, for example.

though i think that it would have been better to bring rain dance into glacia's fight rather than sunny day. water types resist ice types if i remember correctly and you might be able to ohko with a 100% accurate thunder rather than with thunderbolt.

Scald and Weather Ball will both get stab and the strong thing for Rain. They both get buffed in Rain.

Although I disagree with you about Castform being the cutest Pokémon of all since Machop is, I still find a lot more respect for you because Castform is also one of my favourite Pokémon (and still one of the cutest), and your video reminded me how fun it is.
In the past on various Sapphire runs I've used 2 Castforms on a single team (one with Weather Ball and the 3 weather moves that change its form, the other with Sunny Day/Rain Dance/Thunder/Solar Beam), but the new moves Castform gets nowadays makes me think how awesome it'd be to do a Castform TEAM run, with each Castform themed around a different weather:

3:54 The reason this did not work is not just a lack of luck, the shiny is determined by the trainer and secret ID of the trainer who hatches the egg meaning the shiny charm doesn't actually help you. (This is what I remember but I could still be wrong, correct me if so)

Just FYI weather ball was actually one of the best moves you could have gotten on castform. If u look at 8:50 u can see that in a weather condition the power doubles from
50 to 100 making it have more power than flamethrower scald and ice beam while making it flexible to whatever weather u want.

You know that weather ball becomes a 100 powered move in rain, sun, and hail on top of it changing its type to match the weather (it really is a good move idk why u got rid of it)
It's the perfect move for a solo run where you're going to want to change the weathers your going to be using. He obviously didn't plan it out, nor is this exactly a challenge since he's using items in battle with an actual pretty decent pokemon.
While I agree that items are a bit cheap. I'd like to give him a break sense he doesn't do these all the time and cast forms stats really are just awful

I like castform he’s cute I didn’t realise he could be so powerful. I especially love this playthrough because he’s using a top fave pokemon and shows off how powerful it can be.
