For the record it was the black lads in toxteth that gave aki the name purple. The kid who died was with other kids walking behind aki shouting racist comments aki turned round chased them for about 50 yards then walked away. The kid was so scared he kept running and ran in front of a train. No charge was ever brought also the liverpool echo paid out a huge payment ordered by the court for there liable reporting on the case FACTS! He has never ever been charged with any sexual crime! The man lived in toxteth one of the most notorious neibourhoods in England surrounded by top gangsters yet was never touched or shot. That should tell you something. The mans guilty of being a weirdo nothing else.
For the record I was born and bred in Liverpool 8. We called it the South End. It only became known as Toxteth after the 1981 Uprising.
Our Uprising was reported on by press from all over the world and after 1981 the south end became known as Toxteth. This is because they all wrote about “The Toxteth Riots” and now that’s what the south end is known as.
You are right about his name it was we ourselves that gave Akin the name purple although not me personally. I have heard it said many times in my community about my African brothers “ He was so black he’s purple” But that is said amongst ourselves.
We in our own community refer to each other when speaking about our friends as “ See him there that’s my Ni**er. I have said about certain black friends I have “that’s my Ni**er” and it meant as a term of endearment and it is when used amongst ourselves just like in USA
However, if a person of the Caucasian persuasion uses Ni**er it not used in an endearing manner it’s an expression of hate and we deemed that an expression of racism. The same goes if that Caucasian calls Akin Purple. It’s the equivalent of calling him “Blackie Akkie” and in my opinion is a racist slur.
Thank you for the clarification of what happened on the Railway tracks. This means If the boy didn’t racially abuse Akin he would still be alive. But I don’t think he deserved to die. It was a tragedy and I genuinely feel for his family.

You forgot I’m from Liverpool and I have been around a long time, I know how a lot not all but a lot of scousers feel about non whites and racism is alive and kicking.

Yes bang on there I was at Garth prison and he was on my spur and he did write up for me witch was funding to get on a plumbing course witch I was going to do whilst finishing my sentence off at this prison a sat in pad whilst he did this paperwork at that time I was weighing in around 17 half stone and a can say he never attempted to feel on my muscle 😅I have to say I was a bit twitchy as I had read something about purple in the paper The people. Stephen french received a serious head injury in church in Preston prison while on remand , he was attacked from behind, it's effected his memory... Imagine if he had his own podcast he wouldn't let his guest get a word in, he seems to mention racism a lot but he looks more white than black which makes no difference, every one of his podcasts he's been on is more or less the same .
