[WORLD OF KAISERREICH: IRELAND]
The World of Kaiserreich is an animated video series explaining the lore of the Hearts of Iron mod Kaiserreich. In the alt-history timeline of Kaiserreich, a German victory in WW1 changes the world as we know it.
In this episode, the Ireland Rework team and Kaiser Cat Cinema artists take a closer look at Ireland, the Emerald Isle. The collapse of the British Empire has secured Irish freedom, but many threats to Éire still remain. As Syndicalism spreads through defeated Britain, the Irish find themselves once again trapped in the midst of a struggle between Great Powers.
To the South, German diplomats court Dublin openly, seeking to add the country to their growing Reichspakt Alliance. But deals with imperialists can be treacherous, and the Irish know all too well the price of bending the knee to a foreign king. To their East, then, the British Empire has been replaced with a revanchist syndicalist regime. While the Union of Britain has no open intentions to reclaim Ireland, can the Emerald Isle ever truly trust ‘Perfidious Albion’?
Ireland stands at a crossroads, and must carefully balance the influence of foreign powers, even as the world slowly lurches towards a Second Weltkrieg.
For now, however, there is hope. Ireland is strong. Ireland is free.

@@johnnotrealname8168 it’s often called the 3 kingdoms in academia I have learned. Scotland, Ireland, and England (wales included) since the civil war was intertwined with both of those regions too
@@ad_astra5 I know! That is because there were literally three seperate Kingdoms! It is the correct terminology too as the War was not solely an English affair.
Honestly the Irish in this universe seem the less messed up faction not facing some great external or internal threat
I thought they were of great strategic importance to all three factions, with the Canadians invading as a jumping point to Britain, and the syndaclists wanting to spread their revolution. So they've got massive external threats in the Second Weltkreig.

Nice, I love the reference to the German guns that went down with the Aud, a Norwegian vessel bringing arms to Ireland for the 1916 rising but scuttled just off Cork when she was captured by the British. Am sure a deeper dive into the history would reveal further information on the Irish Citizens Army, which had links to the Bolsheviaks and Communism in our world and probably the syndicalists in Kaiserreick, or what happened to the Unionist and Ulster Volunteers of Northern Ireland, which in our world wanted to retain rule from Westminster. What happened to the UVF.
Short version, Britain collapsed and the Royal family fleeing to Canada stole alot of their stream. And the fact that Michael Collins attempted to talk with them and get them somewhat involved in the governs of the Island when he could just kicked off a generational war helped the situation.
The still exist in the game and what happens to them is part of the Irish tree.
@lostShadowLord ah yes, the Collins-Craig talks. I completely forgot about that. I suppose the Presbyterian-Unionist would be more willing to deal with a Roman Catholic dominated (in their view) Dáil than with a godless syndicalist British parliament. Still, I wouldn't discount the UVF, by the start of the Great War, they were already pretty well armed, even if they lacked the manpower to be very effective since most of their volunteers would have joined the British army when the war broke out. Nevertheless, you don't need many men to cause problems, as the Troubles in our timeline shows all too well.

It's a bit odd, one of them major groups that took part in the easter rising historically were the Irish Citizen Army, a socialist group. My only guess is that the fact that the Easter rising was successful in the Kaiserreich means that the fight was much larger, perhaps this broaded coalition for the rising diluted later left wing influence in future Dails.

@johnnotrealname8168 In our history, it was the rallying cry for the anti-Great War Irish Volunteers who refused to join the British Army in 1914 and went on to engage in the Easter Rising 1916 and later became the core of the independence war IRA.
@@Gillemear Irish Citizen Army, they were literally asking the Kaiser to help them.
@johnnotrealname8168 The ICA was not the Irish Volunteers. They had a different leadership and structure and only joined the Easter Rising when their leader, James Connoly, began talking about starting his own revolution and had to be abducted and convinced to join the Irish Volunteer/Irish Republician Brotherhood cause and timetable.

Is there any lore in regards to the loyalists in Northern Ireland? Just out of curiosity, at that time they would be a major force in Ireland.
Loyalists were not a major force in Ireland
They had minority settlements in Dublin and ulter who were protected by the crown with police and military
That's why Most protestants here in munster fled Ireland when the rising started they had no protection from the british state
When it became clear that the syndicalists would win the British civil war, the ulster elite negotiated unification with the Republic.

From an Irishman indulging in Irelands most famous past time you have done a grand job of brining Ireland during this period into the world of kaiserreich
Reading the wiki is so weird. It's more-or-less the Irish Free State/Republic of Ireland, but they are officially the 'Irish Republic', which is the title of the state the IRA fights for... Not to mention how Collins' Sinn Féin, despite being authoritarian, is the more left-leaning of the two (being more in line with the principles of the historical Irish Republic), while being pro-treaty Sinn Féin.
Other than that, cool mod and alt history, and it's on such a scale that these slight innacuracies are barely worth speaking about.
If you have any questions, I'm happy to clear them up for you. I'm not really sure what your question is or discrepency is here.
theres somthing about this that hurts my ears, I think its an Irish voice actor putting on a different regional accent or a more sterotypical accent. on a unrelated not id love to see where they got there helmets from, would be interesting to see cause the early Irish defence forces used germ style helmets but were made by the British cause germany couldn't export military equipment. in this timeline I imagen they would get the actual german manufacture helmets
