The GLOCK 43 - G43X MOS Semi Auto 9mm Pistol. The G43X M.O.S. has a short subcompact barrel length and a comfortably balanced, versatile compact-size grip with a minimal profile. It incorporates elements of the Slimline series such as the short trigger distance, and a frame with a built-in beavertail.

It is required to swap out your plastic OEM mag catch with either our standard steel mag catch or our premium steel mag catch. Here's why. If you don't swap your mag catch you may have reliability issues. If you use another manufacturer's mag catch you may have reliability issues.

BIS 43X/48 (Backup Iron Sight, 43X/G48) is a collaboration between Ameriglo and FCD. Specifically made for Glock G43X and G48, these sights are based on the superb Ameriglo GL-527 with a front sight height of 0.450", and a rear sight height of 0.554", this sight sets provide lower 1/3 co-witness with the Trijicon RMRcc when used with our OPF-G43X/43, RMRcc on GLOCK's G43X and G48.

I believe those sights are specifically made to run with an RMRcc that is on a mounting plate. Thus requiring the taller sights
You are correct. They sent them to test out but I didn't have a RMRcc. So it doesn't work for my exact setup.
That's not a front sight, that's a recycled vertical stabilizer from a retired 747 😂😂😂

I gave away my Shield mags and now use the PSA 15 rounders. I still had malfunctions with the Shield mags so I put the stock mag release back in with the PSA mags and no issues after about 800+ rounds.
I’m going to have to test those magazines.
The factory sights would have co witnessed just fine with the vortex defender.
Eventually, this year, I will be running this gun with a suppressor, so I did want suppressor sites, but definitely not sky high tall as these.
Damn, those sights look like a plane could fly into them at any second. I recently had a similar issue with Truglo's. Sometimes buying things from the internet is just great.
Hahaha 😂 yeah these sites were sent to me to test out and they are skyscrapers! But then again I have a suppressor coming, so we’ll see.

Cool video & good stuff for the viewers just a few tips I do suggest whatever you use to tighter the light up with you put some painters tape on it (Whether it be a coin or screwdriver ) As well as putting the painters tape on the slide if you put it in the Pusher or Vice , just a little piece helps a bunch to avoid unwanted nicks or scratches .Another thing is if your Red Dot mounts directly to the slide you probably won't need suppressor height sights
That is good feedback. The only issue I’m gonna have is the diameter of my suppressor actually needs suppressor heights sites on most of my pistols now because of “can” diameter not because of red dots.
Whoa 😂😂😂😂 those sights are astounding. I don’t know if I’ve seen suppressor sights that high. My stock glock sights co witness with my optic.

those sights are for the RMRcc on the FCD plate to sit lower 1/3. They're tall, but they work great for that. Other sights sit too low with that config.

I do want to test the PSA versions, so far the S15’s are insanely well made, no issues to report.
Ive got a couoke s15.3 running like oem so far- bout 200 rounds a piece.
Got the 43x today and they sold me the wrong flashlight 😂 gotta go get the sub tomorrow. Can't wait to edc it, waiting for my teir 1 concealment appendix holster still also.

I do think it’s 1 million times better than the Glock 43, it makes more sense! But it all depends on the person and their needs and what fits the best.
Do you like sights that tall? I run the lower 1/3 height from night fision and even with the holosun 507k with the adapter plate I can still cowitness. Nice work tho, I retired my 365xl for the 43x with S15 mags as well. No issues on the mags and I'm at 1500 plus rounds now .

Yes, get regular height sights and keep the factory trigger. Don't make it a range toy

Question guys, never messed with aftermarket sights, but was thinking of upgrading a few guns I have. Do all the rear sights slide off like that on most guns??
The rear sight on a Glock is dovetailed some firearms the front and the rear sight are dovetailed into the slide.

I've used a coin to install it, but this light comes with a tool if you don't want to use a coin. It's a small tool in a separate plastic bag, as part of the package.
You’re right, using a coin is the best way to do it. Do not use a flat edge screwdriver, cause it will sheer off the slot and create a burr.
It's easier to pull the rod out
Why those tall ass sights you get a good cowitness with stock sights and the defender
Yeahhhh, they are way too tall. I dislike them, they are getting replaced.
@@GunsmithBeard Put the stock plastics back on man. Cheap, easily replaceable, perfect 1/4 cowitness with the defender and personally I think the rear goal post is helpful in finding the dot quickly under stress. Assuming you slaved the dot like I did. Not sure how much that would matter on a longer distance zero.
What happened to the tlr.8? Did it not fit
My TLR-8G did not work, because of the locking plates, I even modified one to see if I could get it to work and nothing worked.

Just a disgrace that Glock doesn't offer OEM extended mags. The 3rd party mags are not reliable enough

Psa not changing nth on the gun to use a msg and don’t have to find the right gen to get reliable mags

Dang brother…… Swampfox supports your channel and you advertise a VORTEX DEFENDER and not Swampfox Sentinel? It fits directly on the glock 43x with no plate needed and you can co witness with factory height sights, I never was a fan of them tall sights on a pistol that small
Swampfox are good guys they don’t require me to use their optics on everything I like to try different things.
