Very forgiving and fast for a longbow. Best of both worlds
Price has gone way up since I purchased mine, by about $100 bucks in four years, and needs to be around 68-70 inches amo

It could be a baseball bat also. Not as thought there is any real dearth of R/D bows out there in hybrid range. For quite a while they were selling the Patriot. If anything bows that are actual longbows are more rare at the moment, at least from the majors. This one doesn't quite hit the mark for a real longbow either, but for some it gets in that direction. 400 is too much for as simple a bow as this is, and for what it will deliver. But I do see them everywhere.
I got a Patriot. has the most R/D in bear flatbows. not as much as i like something like navajo but it's fun and smooth shooter.
This bow is still nearly as fast a hybrid longbow. I like the classic D shape look better personally. And it wouldn't be as quiet or smooth if it was more like a hybrid longbow.
Overpriced with plenty of hand-shock. This bow is the reason the Ausable came into existence with wider limbs and more forgiving tiller.
