@Jacky Phantom You are correct, I am also inspired by the ip man movies to learn Wing chung but after that many of my Asian friends including a chinese guy recommended me to learn muay thai instead of Wing chung, because they said that Wing chung is not work that way like in the movies so better learn something that can apply in real sreet fight like muay thai !!!!

It’s really sad, when you see any of these traditional martial arts in a real fight you don’t see the essence of any of their signature techniques applied.They will all resort to a boxers style when the heat is on.And they still haven’t learned from the greatest Chinise martial artist of the 21th century who told them that 60 years ago.But I guess if these martial artist of various styles don’t keep up the Bs about the effectiveness of traditional martial arts they could not keep giving themselves all these outrageous titles like grand masters and supreme grand masters i have never seen such bull shit in my life.I am waiting like a kid in a candy store to see who is going to be the first idiot to give himself the title of GOD.And believe me these dumb brainwashed students especially the wing chun peoples they will fall for it.
But still better than dumb fuck silat martial art... Wing chun is good because of it very unique techniques and the philosophy behind it... Which make it special than other martial art... Whether or not did it beat the shit out of the ppl it's very depending on the fighter itself
