Hi Meg! I'm just finally catching up on CZcams and I wanted to thank you for highlighting the journals I made. Yes, the lace on the Black Beauty journal is vintage. The green cardstock pocket in the Mother's journal is something I got at a thrift store and I have no idea what it was originally. It was a pack so I have more of them. I love that the German song page resonates with you. That's the wonderful thing about junk journals. Happy Journaling!

This video was SO MUCH FUN! TYFS! I LOVED the horse journal! So beautiful, and I love how Kristen (sp?) did the spine. My daughter loves horses, too, and took horseback riding lessons for several years. She took a break from it this past year, but is going to resume this summer. I’m really glad she is. I’ve been collecting horse ephemera to make a horse journal for her, so this video and the journal you bought gave me lots of inspiration! I also LOVED the pink journal! So cute and fun! I will DEFINITELY check out that Etsy shop! And the happy mail 😍
Really lovely journals. I have never thought of using book pages to make a cover - great idea. Loved the happy mails too. Going to your post box must be so exciting.

I just bought the same retro flower beads at Hobby Lobby as well. So fun for a retro journal. I'm right there with you on the naps. They give me a headache. I wonder if an online store might have some Edelweiss fabric...
Found some fabric today on ebay that looks so much like the curtain fabric from the film! :)
