Barton, the Q70 is half the car. I test drove a '15 Q70L and found it lacking in features and it was neither sporty or luxury. Sort of in between. The equus weighs 1000 lbs more and just feels like a heavy, smooth touring machine compared to the Q70. I stopped calling the infiniti dealership afterward. Aside, I just bought a 2015 Equus Ultimate.

I have had nothing but superlative service from International Infinity. Opinions on cars are solely subjective. Infinity sales and service staff treat me as if I bought a Maybach.
I had the 2015 Q70 with the tech package and 20" wheels, and AWD. The adaptive cruise was SHITE from day one, and Infinity did nothing for over a year, citing the technology (stain on the radar) wasn't there yet. The Bridgestone Potenza were garbage from the get go, new Perrilis were a night and day change. The BOSE Sur-round sound is not any where near on par with the Lexicon discreet sound (Lexicon discrete sound system also in the Rolls Royce Phantom). The 2016 Ultimate on the highway is head shoulders above the Q70 and the so-called speakers in the from seats are nothing but a BOSE gimmick, try and listen to them.The Q70 wasn't bad a car but the EQUUS is just that much more a full size luxury highway cruiser. It only been a few months, but the adaptive cruise on the EQUUS has worked perfectly, In terms of quietness, the EQUUS with asymmetric tires is proving itself in a class of its own, surpassing the E250, CT6, without a doubt. Went from Vancouver to Calgary in adverse winter weather, and the snow mode with all seasons and the RWD was nothing short of impressive. Time will tell, but to date it's been great!!!! Soft shut doors, HUD, power reclining, heated and cooled rear seats way, too much fun.

Beautiful Car, in terms of full size used luxury, none of the big europeans can compare, even for
double the money you will pay for one these cars. The Ultimate can be had for less than
50% of sticker price after less than 2 years. $35,000 in the full size luxury car market, this car is outstanding
ride, quality, and value. The 430 horse tau, and 8 speed ZF is smoother than anything out there.

What, No Ejection Seat ??!! This car has a tremendous amount of power conveniences, and great styling, it's a nice ride. But leaves me skeptical and leery of future electrical problems and possible difficulty in parts availability and repair cost. Every vehicle I've owned with power anything I've had to repair myself, but fortunately all have been domestic and parts and affordability weren't an issue. Nice Review Happy!

Honestly, It does look similar to the Mercedes. Check out the Genesis you'd be very impressed.
So Hyundai has said that the Equess is as good or better than. The Lexus. BMW. Mercedes. First . The Equess. Starts at $ 61K. The Mercedes E Class. $ 51,000. The Lexus $49,000. Second in a side by side comparison. Hyundai came in last compared to theses and others. The Lexus came in highest In resale value. Even the Chevrolet Malibu beat out the Genesis. So again Why by a Hyundai.
Garrett Mort well you cant read. I didn't make the comparison. Car and Driver. And Consumer Reports. They rated theses cars above your Equess. Did you see Hyundai didnt make the top ten luxury cars. Or the top ten overall cars but Subaru won 3 out of 10. In the overall cars. Not one freeking Hyundai. You know they say if you have to insult someone to make your point. You dont have one. No Hyundai is compatible with any others.

Hyundai Assurance is a joke. Hyundai is the only manufacturer in the world that wont respond to my call or letters. No mater what class. Bmw. Mercedes. LEXUS. The Equess DOESN'T compare. Garrett Mort you are partly right . Is is the lexus 460.. am And the Audi A8. But they still beat out the Hyundai. No matter how or what you call it. Your Equess still came in last. So there. Deal with it. Either to own one or work for Hyundai. Either is in my opinion a bad Choice so have fun with your little Hyundai.
