Charge Spoon for me, likewise a friend told me about it, tried it, then bought one for my next bike, then realized it was the saddle for me, and have bought a whole bunch of them in different cover fabrics to coordinate with whatever color the bike is, one even coincidentally matched a pair of gloves. I keep a couple in my parts cache for future bikes too.
Not sure if you knew but, Fabric was started by the people who designed the Charge Spoon.

I have 4 Charge Spoon saddles!
I'm partial to the now discontinued Fabric Line Shallow. It's basically a scoop with a cutout/relief channel.
I have alerts setup on Facebook marketplace and buy every one that pops up at a reasonable price.
I've had a Scoop Fabric for 3 years and you are 100% right; it's friggin awesome.
I also found a few saddles that I like and put them on all of my bikes.
I like the smooth jazz music that you used to use for the end of your videos. It was nice to hear it during this video.
I know your BMX videos don’t do as well as some others, but I look forward to them each week. I don’t even ride BMX and I still enjoy them.
That’s a great looking saddle, my favorite saddle now are full carbon with some slight flex but I’d definitely take a look at those for my future builds. Great video! Holy friggin’ hell, love it!

I'm partial to specialized saddles, but will keep this in mind. Real riders run the plastic BMX seats from 2008, lol. (before my time)
To feed my competitive side while doing easy training, I focus on competing with myself on even splits and keeping my heart rate down. Changing to the perspective really helped me!

I was actually wondering at what point you were going to add a sub box. It's the sort of thing I liked a lot when I spent time in bmxtown
Glad to see it make an appearance! I imagine you might want to make it a little longer at some point - having it only long enough to go axle to axle gives you an opportunity to absolutely rip your spokes out of your wheels catching them on the corners. Going outer edge of the tire with the length adds in that extra bit of "my tire prevents me from destroying my wheels in that aforementioned way" that really lights my brain up.

I had that saddle! got it in 2019, and it didn't break until Jan 5, 2024. Thumbs up for the price! The seat rail actually snapped.
Great segment! I’ve run fabric scoops on my bikes for ages, hell of a saddle!
I have one on my gravel bike. Very unique design. I use a Charge spoon on MTB at the moment, but may put a Scoop on that one too.
Another vote for the fabric scoop, i have been riding a “demo” version for 3years on my gravel/CX race bike. Same saddle on 2 mini velos and on a folding bike…
Regarding running, if I were you, i would not beat myself about running; i restarted running and won t go more than 5k. I only run because I was getting cramps when jumping of the bike during CX race😂… which ruined the races.

That saddle is right some good, buddy.
MTB, a scoop went on first thing. The touring bike, the OEM Brooks was sold right away, and when the 90s Flite wore out, another scoop went on. Bike #3 I toured on for three weeks, on a cheap seat, and boy did I miss the scoops.
That's how I feel about a wtb pure v. Tried other saddles just to see what's out there but have always come back. Might need to try out this saddle!

Honestly fabric saddles don’t seem like they’d be comfortable but they always work well with me. Even the narrow flat ones are fantastic on my track bike

From what I hear… the people who designed the Charge Spoon started Fabric and the Scoop is their replacement… apparently the Scoop Radius is the closest they make to the Charge Spoon.
Also check the Charge Spoon £15-25 in the UK.

Fabric scoop or Brooks on my bikes
I have four bikes, three with Fabric Scoops and one with a ‘90s Flite because it’s a ‘90s mountain bike but when that one dies you know the rest.
ive been riding with a fabric scoop saddle for 4 years now , was a good investment however any ride longer than 10km cycling shorts are reccomended and at about 30km even with shorts there is some discomfort but im chalking that up more to bad setup than the saddle
Just based on the shape of that saddle, it looks like pure torture to me. First bike I owned as an adult had a Selle Italia Flight saddle, which looks very similar. I could only stand to ride for half an hour on that thing before I would go totally numb in the nether regions. Granted, the Flight saddle didn't have near the flex that your Scoop does, but still, I have to have something with a cutout and a tad wider in the sit bone area.
I really love my Bontrager Sport seats. haven't tried a Scoop. no real reason to... I always buy factory take offs from bike shops.. tires seats and grips.
which means.. tires and grips would be the next obvious items.. the consumables.
TPU TUBES!!! they weigh less than Tubeless. I haven't had a flat yet with my 29er they weigh 70g in that size and cost $20 canadian for two
Nothin' like the 0.2 seconds where your heart and breathing stop when riding out of something as sketchy as that box
,I purchased the saddle in question a few days ago and after the first ride I noticed that the rails are not perfectly welded in the rear part of the saddle but, so to speak, they slide in the seats where they are inserted causing some annoying noises, I wanted ask you if this is intended to accentuate the elasticity/flexibility and therefore the pedaling comfort which in fact is not defective or if instead it is more simply an unfortunate and isolated manufacturing defect of my saddle.

I'm annoyed with myself that I put my fabric saddle on my beater bike and consequently it got stolen cause I was too impatient and didn't lock it cause i was just gonna be 30 secs in a gas station trying to wash my hands after having a snack. 😮💨
there were times too that CRC in UK were selling the older models for 15$ I wish I bought more honestly than just 2. 😮💨
