    Not Really, there were too many people predicting Uber's gona win, as well as PxG now. Its not predictible, cause the victory of the MC might arrive, but isnt sth thought by everyone. For example in Inazuma eleven you always knew that the MC was going to comeback and win by 1 goal difference. When the match between Pxg and BM is 2-2 (the only thing we can predict) the last goal would be a lottery, also you have so many ways to achieve it. -Rin, Shidou, Isagi and Kunigami striking once and Isagi gets the winning goal, letting Kaiser as a fraud
    -Kaiser proving his level and scoring the winning goal. Then Rin remains top 1
    -Kaiser scoring, Isagi gets a brace and Kunigami is the fraud.
    An alone battle between Rin and Isagi, only them scoring.
    +Other posibilities regarding PxG win

    I think his growth is rather natural and actually matches the whole goal of blue lock; Ego. The more Isagi grows, scores and thrives, the larger his ego gets, and as that grows, so does his will and desire to prosper, to grow, to succeed and, most importantly, to be the best. It’s a cycle that only speeds up as it grows. His ego gets bigger, he grows, comes across a challenge and then when he overcomes it, his ego grows more, rising to meet another challenge. His growth was slower to begin with because he didn’t understand himself, nor his ego. Plus he didn’t have top players to analyse and break down.

    I really dont see Isagi as progressing too fast, seeing has how he would be almost worthless without his teammates, also Isagi has lost multiple times since the start of the NEL, from causing a goal opportunity for Lavino during the Barcha match and Kunigami stealing his goal and failing to score in the Man match, plus failing to get past Aiku in the Ubers match. All these times Isagi has lost and its only because hes on Bastard that he hasnt lost a game.

      In my opinion, in the situation it makes it more unpredictable. Of course, munchen will probably win, but the amount of buildup for different characters is what makes it unpredictable. Kaiser and Ness getting a backstory after losing to isagi in scoring goals will make it more unpredictable as we don't know who will come out on top this time. Kiyora being snubbed by isagi may cause him to help kunigami instead, and then the team will have 3 potential goal scorers, and the outcome can end up in favour of any of them. We also have the u21 world cup squad that Richie, hiori, and nanase have to fight for. We also don't know who will be knocked out of the top 23 if igaguri does make it to the team.

    The genius of any art form is to balance the predictable with the unpredictable and i think Blue Lock is doing that really well.
    The question of predictability is one I feel could only intensify at THIS stage of THIS arc because almost everything essential to the plot has happened except the climax and final resolution. Most major characters have gotten their arcs (which were amazingly written too), skill boosts, plot positions/relevance in the next arc, relationship dynamics etc, so it's in that steady levelling off of pacing, egos, excitement, stakes, that makes some to think it's become overly predictable. But the NEL has been a wiiiiild ride for me 😭.
    I guess how you blend in the obvious with the not-so-obvious is how the unpredictable really stands out. Some obvious things that actually caught me by surprise:
    #1. The NEL itself [of course the BL players weren’t professional and needed a gateway into pro football]
    #2. NG11 players [both the fact that it was *just* Kaiser and Lorenzo we got to see and that it was *Kaiser and Lorenzo* we got to see. You'd think each of these clubs would have NG11 players. And boy did these two live up to the name😭]
    #3. Kaiser [the most well-written character in the NEL? I'd say so😭. My goodness, his impact on BL characters and this arc in general😭😭😭. I daresay he's BL's best antagonist, period!]
    #4. Snuffy [can't talk about the NEL without talking about the league's most interesting team. I don't think there's a team doing more overall narrative heavy lifting than the Ubers, and that man Snuffy is responsible for it. It was obvious how they'd play and where they'd possiby finish in the league but I didn't think they'd be this important to the NEL]
    #5. Chigiri's 44° Panther Snipe [most obvious thing out there considering the hints, yet amongst the most satisfying]

    The NEL is definitely not predictable. The community always says that Isagi has to experience losing again but why? What does Isagi gain from losing?
    Isagi has only lost three times in the entire manga. Once against Barou who proved he could turn a 0 into a 1. Once against Rin to develop his vision and once again against Rin to learn about the mechanism of luck. BM losing to PxG does nothing but reinforce that Rin is better than Isagi. Rin defeating Isagi again means that there isn’t a rivalry, it’s just a stomp in Rin’s favor.
    Blue lock isn’t Jujutsu Kaisen. There aren’t any random shock moments. Being predictable isn’t bad, the execution of the narrative is what matters and the NEL has mostly delivered. The only exception is the end of the Ubers match where we got to see Hiori’s flashback three chapters in a row.

    • @ActualDiamond
      @ActualDiamond Před 5 měsíci +3

      @@user-bt2qy6yx4i He doesn’t teleport, he finds weaknesses in plays using his metavision. These aren’t 90 minute matches, more like 30 so he has the stamina to run up and down the field.
      You want NPC’s like Menser and Birkenstock to get defensive feats? Okay but be careful what you wish for. If you want to argue with the Ubers match that’s fair, but remember that players like Aryu are unpopular in Japan. If Isagi and Kaiser didn’t run back to their own half then Bastard München would have lost the game.
      Isagi’s physicals are becoming better and better with each match. I expect his shooting to get a massive increase while also slightly increasing his speed and passing. This is also a team sport and Isagi’s playmaking is the best in BlueLock except for Rin maybe.

    I do think so! It’s been extremely predictable for me. Isagi has been growing wayyyyy too fast and it makes it so he can’t possibly lose against Rin. But I realyyyy want Isagi to lose! Just so he can reflect on his loss and I especially want Kaiser to beat Isagi!

    • @shadowdarkangelo
      @shadowdarkangelo Před 5 měsíci +1

      He has been losing to Rin from the start, and no the U-20 match was not winning, given that he needed Rin to bat Sae in order to score

      Him losing to Rin a THIRD time would be more predictable than the rest of the nel combined

      @@dransom074 I don’t think anyone is predicting him to lose tho. How would that be predictable? I think Isagi probably shows in the match that he’s surpassed Rin but BM wins because of Kaiser. So Kaiser still beats Isagi which sets up Kaiser as a big obstacle for Isagi during the U-20 World Cup which will probably be the next arc.

    Bruh, how are we complaining that the NEL is pretictable. Everything was literally forshadowed. We all knew going into the NEL that the final match would be Rin vs Isagi before they go on a world stage. Noa literally said that metavision was the fastest route for Isagi to get to him. meaning that his progression would skyrocket after unlocking and mastering that ability. Nagi said his ego wil be to beat Isagi and as a genius he momentarily did but at the cost of his future progress. Nagi's downfall was forshadowed as well when he chose Reo over Isagi cause Reo represents that easy lifestyle to Nagi. This isn't a battle shonen with powers and we shouldnt treat it as such. I've seen people call Blue Lock supernatural, which is crazy. Its just a game of soccer dialed up to 15/10. soccer is very predictable if you have studied the teams playing.
    Also, I love watching your videos

    Too predictable…not so much..there a moments you just don’t expect…like isagi managing to score with another foot, one coach has a dark past that relates to real life mental health and struggle of superstars in the sporting world, another coach is Ronaldo-copy cat wannabe diva (I bet his coaches back home are laughing), PXG is the complete opposite of PSG where instead of organization and training new stars, it’s not the the usual PSG where everyone has an ego so bad that their main star kylian mbappe is more of a villain now with his Madrid quest. Also nagi’s downfall rapidly speeding that reo almost used a bad word to describe a person of color but they managed to soften that translation..the most surprised is sendou scoring his first goal in the NEL.

    Nah, it isn't predictable just getting a little boring; especially with the mishandlement with the ubers match. The so-called tactical genius only had one design, strikers defending and teleporting, and the constant flashbacks from Hiori all made it a disappointing match for me which is saddening because Ubers is my favorite team in this arc.
