Isagi's aura is green. It's on the cover of the first volume. The blue is more like a general aura before they unlock their individuality. Not liking it comes down to preference, but you'll have to make peace with it being green.
Instead, they should adjust the effect to add shadows or give it something to make it not look so simple
This season is gonna be peak!

@lokouba that happened once, and it was with Naruhaya. And it was because Isagi copied his off the ball. So if it's a copy, it has to be Naruhaya's orange color. Even then when isagi made it his own it turned back to green

He actually is shown with puzzle pieces aura a lot in the manga (during the current manga arc), quite similar to Rin being shown with "Fluid water-ish" Aura and Barou with his Lightning Red
I'm not sure if they (animation studio) would be able to adapt it properly though, we can only hope for a good enough animation that doesn't use terrible cgi.

After hearing your suggestions I can vividly imagine the ending on my head. Having the season's ending song roll in while the blue lockers pick their teams and Isagi going through his first tests on Bastard. As the camera is focusing on Isagi having the sound of a Kaiser Impact stop the ending song and the camera switching on Kaiser. Man, gives me chills.

Honestly the green aura doesn't bother me that much. I see the auras as different personifications of soccer. Blue being the BLUE LOCK Program which is where they go to learn how to be the best soccer players and green being the color of the soccer field, which is what someone who plays soccer probably has their best moments on (which is the field)
But there are many reason to not like it, and no matter how deep reason behind, the look is still better and the first one that will notice. I mean after rewatching this anime many times, green doesn't really fit his character and you can see how aura can really ups the character like Nagi and even naruhaya for example. And seeing blue to him at the start of the show is really cool and add to that, there are in BLUE lock which make it even better. but the best is that, if he can have aura of those people that he is devouring
great video, only thing is the first season had 24 episodes and covered like 90 chapters so i’m sure season 2 will have just as many episodes so it can def cover everything it needs to

I don't get the hate for Isagi's green aura. Maybe I'm biased since green is my favorite color. But it contrasts his blue color scheme extremely well and helps him stand out from the others. Not to mention green is associated with many meanings that closely resemble Isagi's character development and his ability to overcome change calmly and rationally.
I saw Episode Nagi movie in Japan and, unfortunately, it had the same CGI as the 1st season. However, there were some hype scenes and ost as well, so I hope they have earned enough money to maybe polish the 2nd season!!

I agree we this list, I would say though, if you've ever been to a big stadium to watch a match at night, you'll find that the flood lights are so bright that it gives the illusion of day so Id imagine most of the U20 match would be lit similarly to the indoor matches just with more background rendered

No you don't get it his aura was always sus to be green blue is like the base aura for every character like nagi in that one episode nagi scene had blue aura when imagining how he would score for Japan. So every character will have blue as their base before getting their true auras barou is black and red isagi is green even his first volume cover is green nagi is black.

I mean nothing stopping them from making it 13 or 14 Episode to fit everything from 3rd Selection to the Start of NEL with Kunigami showing up and showing his chapter match before it as flashblack , ending with kaiser showing up to hype Season 3 as NEL/Kunigami showing up and Kaiser Teasing as new Villain , instead of 12 Episode

So it’s a 14 ep season and I’m guessing there’s gonna be we’ll have 4 episodes for the third selection and then another 4 the flow state explanation. Then 5 for the U-20 game then end of with their day off chapter. I seriously can’t wait for s2.
Isagi has always had a Green aura. That's his individuality and identity. Every player that isn't Awakened has a Blue Aura in their respective moments before awakening and having a distinctive one.
My thoughts exactly, in episode 7 when Chigiri starts to play seriously again, his aura is blue, but later on his aura turns to a pinkish red
So hyped for season 2

About the aura thing, every character starts with blue aura, and when they evolve their aura changes to their respective color, thats why the aura of isagi became green at the last episodes
i loved bluelock season 1 even with its bad animation i was so happy watching it i didnt even notice how bad the animation got untill i re-watched it
also i read the manga and season 2 if done right will be a 11/10

I've read that season 2 is gonna be 24 episodes while this is stretching theings I think havign an episode for the kunigami and reo vs shidou and monk game would help along with having the last 2-3 eps be the set up for the next arc with the post game the time off and then end with either the reveal of 5 countries or kunigami joining at the end of the next chapter that would be 60 chapters for 24 episodes which isn't a bad pace

Isagi's green aura gotta change in some way there's many ways they can do it like changing it by one of his many evolutions I really hope they notice how many dislike his green aura and change it... Because we can only pray because some of these scenes just won't look good in green at this point go back to the original purple/blue aura everyone had in the beginning since he is supposed to be a blank slate always adapting and adding to his arsenal it would make sense for him to stay with the basic aura everyone has in the beginning.

I just hope that the CGI won’t be that bad this time around and that the U20 Japan match gets the proper stadium background like Aoashi or Captain Tsubasa.
Also I looked at the promo material and everything looks nice but I hope animated Shidou’s arms won’t look as thin as they do on the website. Imagine telling the Anime only fans that the guy with those thin arms is at this point the physically strongest after Tokimitsu who dominated Kunigami like a professional adult against a 13 year old kid😅
I think a better comparison with the U20 Arc with third selection is the Hidden Inventory 5 episode mini season and the 16 episode Shibuya incident.
Every blue lock player we met so far have the color of their auras to be the colors of their corresponding manga covers' background color. For an example Nagi's cover's background color is black so is his aura too. Same goes to Isagi as well. Even though his eyes are blue, his cover's is lime green like in the anime. It has nothing to do with eye color. But sometimes the eye color becomes the colors of the cover as well. Like in Oliver's. His cover's background colors are green and blue like his eyes.

The thing about Isagi's aura is that it still hasn't developed fully yet. Anyone who read the manga should know this. Eventually it will have it's own characteristics, it just takes time to evolve. Let it build up

Season 1 covered 94 chapters in 24 eps which is around 4 chapters per eps so the u20 and 3rd selection covers 54 chapters which would be around 13 eps

nah season 2 is gonna be at least 16 episodes, maybe 18. I can't see it only being 12.
I think the reason the cgi and animation weren’t the best and in some cases really bad and noticeable is because it was the first season. Demon slayer had the same issue where the animation was alright but there were instances where it was obviously bad. The use of cgi in the first season of demon slayer was bad and unnecessary imo. However, you could argue that because it was the first season that it was the way it was.
With that said, I think Blue Lock season 2 will be much better than season was. 1 because of the criticism that was pointed at the animation and cgi they’ll improve it, 2 because of the events, and 3 I expect it will have a much higher budget. I think they’re gonna follow the same pattern as season 1 where they air 12 episodes, take a 2 or 3 week break then air the next 12. It will probably be at a pivotal point in the U20 match, but I can’t say for sure which one.
I’m really excited for season 2 since I really liked season 1. Especially since season 1 was successful and extremely popular and the manga being the #1 in 2023.
