I love that it's an actual jewel case not some cheap piece of cardboard.
I was super happy about that too! It’s crazy to think that jewel cases are now retro. 😂
I HATE the fact that they do less Digipack and nice packaging nowadays...
i woudl definitly buy more cds if they were as nicely packaged as 10 / 20 years ago...
but the booklet is very nice ! thanks for sharing it !
Wow! I had zero expectations going into this album, and it blew me away.
New Sebastian Bach album is up there for album of the year for me , that and the new Bruce album are the best for me
The new Bruce Dickinson album is really good. I don’t think it’s getting the attention it deserves. Like you that one is near the top for best album of the year.
This album kicks ass!!
I brought the CD and I really love his New record. Huge fan since 1991 when the SR Slave Record came out. I always fallowed Bas since SR break up in '96. He made excellent music on his own. His solo carrer his excellent in my opinion. He did'nt get the succces it diserved.. He is very talented.
Wasn't sure what to expect when this came out but I love it! Great songs, great guitar work and more importantly, great vocals. Well worth buying!
great review as always. Myles Kennedy contribute to the songwriting too. I like that you show the physical product in your reviews, as opposed to most Latin American reviewers where they just listen to the album in Spotify and then make a review first day of release. I prefer to wait for the reviewer to carefully listening to the songs for at least 2 or 3 days. Good job man
From the songs I heard on spotify and CZcams from the new album sounds awesome. I have been a huge fan of sebastian bach and skidrow with sebastian bach. I got to meet him and see him in concert the same night. I own all his other solo albums .and I follow him on Instagram.
Amazing album , love it
Sounds pretty good. Saw Skid Row open for Bon Jovi when their first release came out....they were sooo good. They really should get back together.
This cd is 🔥🔥🔥 Sebastian Bach Fucking Rocks 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I am very pleased with the new album from Sebastian Bach. My main concern before hearing the album was that it was produced by Elvis Baskette. Alter Bridge is one of my favorite bands and Elvis has produced nearly all of their records. Most of the songs on those records have a darker mood to them. So I was afraid that this album would be sounding like AB. Hard Darkness definitely has that AB feel to it. Crucify Me definitely has that AB feel to it and some of About to Break. All three are great tunes but they easily could’ve been on any Alter Bridge album too. I believe Myles Kennedy from AB co-wrote one of those tunes as well. When I first heard What Have I Got To Lose I was hooked and immediately pre-ordered this album on vinyl and cd. I’m glad I did because this is a great record.
best cd he did sins "Angel Down".......great new cd here !!!!!!!😃
Thanks sir I enjoyed your review I'm like you for my rock I like that crisp riff orientated angle but my proto death metal I like that overall clipping feel !!
🤟🤟
You're right..The solo in "About To Break". Is incredible. This solo is so smooth not even the crappy production on this record can harm it.
It's a very good album ! His voice is amazing and I do believe it's all very organic, I think he's one of the few artists from the 80s/90s that still pull it off and make great music as well.
Been listening to this album quite a bit on Spotify since its release on Friday. I’ve been enjoying it. Still waiting for my CD copy to ship from
Amazon.
First time I seen skidrow was when they opened for my favorite band gnr it was my greatest graduation present 🎁 from my dad and mom .
Amazing cd!!!! Every song is great! Like to point out the guitar 🎸 playing blew me away
Album is fantastic. Great vocals. Hold on to the dream destroys!
Cool album. Cool review!!!🤘🏻😎👍🏻🇨🇷
Great vid! I’ve been waiting to order it to see what your initial thoughts were. Will be ordering now.
great album🤩🤩😍😍😍
Great review as always Brendon !
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
@@BrendonSnyder What i always liked about Baz is he could sound soulful. Especially compared to other singers of the genre. Obviously a very passionate and talented vocalist.I listened to this album once, it’s good. Actually a little surprised.
Check out his appearance on Amoeba's whats in my bag video series. Its really good.
To me, the cover art has 2 meanings I can relate to. First, as an man seeing my son grow I know I'll always remember him for the boy he was even as he grows as a man. Second, thinking of my own father I'll always remember those times spent with my Dad when I was just a child. Perhaps those thoughts are a bit universal and why that art was chose for an album titled "Child within the man".
Great album. 🤘😎🤘
The best thing he’s done since Slave. Great album.
I checked it out ,,, I like it very much
Bought this cd yesterday 🤘
I got my copy yesterday and am really digging it.
I didnt love the entire album but Hold On To The Dream is a real standout track for me
I Like It Brendon has just enough Skid to the Row
Brendon Synder Your 1 statement is half right. The one thing you got wrong is saying that Skid Row was glam all the time & albums.
The 1st debut album was a glam record ! Which Baz & the band did not want that style they wanted to be a Heavy Metal band !
BUT Seeing how it was there 1st album They had to listen & do what management & record company wanted. And Skid Rows hands where tied cause of just starting out !
Now 1990-91 Slave To The Grind Album. They went VERY HEAVY For.They had enough made enough money they made to have there own frredom of what kind of music & album they could put Out !
And they was definitely a Metal Band For Slave To The Grind album.Heck they wdnt on tour with Pantera !
I do like a few songs off the album F.U. is a good one and so is Future OF Youuth
Very good album. Like it a bit more then his other solo stuff.
I'm really impressed by the singles I've heard so far.
New album is really good 👍
Nice skidrow shirt .
At least he didn't put a bunch of ballads on his new album. Glad he saved it for the last song.
I didn't care for the first song. But after that it was amazing!!
Sebastián's solo music is great but im disappointed he didn't hire Rob. I am up in the air about him rejoining with Skid Row if it happens.
good stuff, skid row re-union is near,
like there early stuff, also his work
with madam-x and his hair 😀👍
Near? not even. Those guys on the Skid Row end seem really resilient.
@tomp4053 maybe they wouldn't be if Bach would act appropriately
This album has an excellent voice, excellent sound and production but I hardly remember the choruses after listening. I prefer memorable choruses like "Unskinny Bop" or "Cherry Pie". Sometimes it sound a bit grunge like the band Alice in Chains wich I'm not too keen on. I would prefer a more 80´s songwriting approach.
All of his albums have a modern feel to them but this one has the least amount of it so I think that’s why people are enjoying it so much.
Will you do a full review of Humanoid? I like the new Seb, the First part of the album is far Better than the second anyway
❤❤❤
🥰Dziękuję 🥰
Some problems that i have with the Art work is.And im curious if im the only one that thinks this way.But to me the artwork especially front is to busy & confusing & cant tell what some of the things are in back ground ?
I agree, the art isn’t clear and is confusing to say the least. As you could see from the interior images, it’s a big painting and not meant to be the tiny CD booklet size so lots of detail is lost.
Brendon curious which you like better this album or Skid Row The Gang’s All Here? Sebastian’s album has a few killer songs, some ok, and two or three especially the ballad. 🤮Skid Row’s all killer!! IMO 🤘🏻
I think the Skid had some fillers.
The Skid Row is amazing…but it would be better if Sebastian had sung on it.
The artwork on at least one of Sebastian Bach’s solo albums, was done by his father, and that artwork is great. The artwork for this new album is absolutely atrocious. Anyone have the story behind this artwork?
Yes Angel Down is best. But he also did the art work on the interior of Give ‘Em Hell.
It's a painting that his late dad did back in the 70s, I think, and the image of Sebastian is his work, too. Sebastian has said that the artwork is very meaningful to him.
Yea I noticed a bit more bass in production, agree it could be a little more crisp/clean I listen on Spotify and EQ it turn up treble a little 😊
Just review the cd
I did
I think that Tom means without the history.
First few listens I'm hearing a lot of Subhuman Race. Not complaining at all. Love that album.
Great review !!! But that artwork is so cheesy lol But for the music. It sounds polished and processed to me. Just not gritty enough for my personal taste. Regardless , love the review man.
Better than the latest ones from Blaze, Bruce, Extreme, Accept, Saxon and Priest.
Priest is way better than Bach but each to their own
Better than the new priest🙄your full of shit!!!
I’m surprised to hear you say that. Not that you can’t find this new album really good. But for me the new Blaze, Bruce Dickinson, and Judas Priest are all fighting for my number one album of 2023 so far.
I have not heard this new SB record. But I really enjoyed the new Priest, Saxon and Bruce D albums.
Priest is much better.
New Accept didn't do much for me.
Don't care to hear Blaze solo albums
Extreme was inconsistent and had meh production.
I like new Saxon but not sure which of the two I like more.
Bruce is decent but prefer new Bach so far.
