converting a bulb to led

I convert a 3.5v 0.5a filament bulb to 3v 0.02a LED. The battery supply will be 4.2v Li-Ion reduced to 3v by a resistor.

I wish I could convert my workshop LED lights to fluorescent. The LED lights only last a few months. They are rubbish.
