I don;t understand the word “junk” for a journal. It is not junk, it is a journal which should be cherished and precious as it is our own soul reflected.
@@elbiesdoodles2379 yes I understand this. Still, paper is paper, a resource and all resources should be recycled, reused and repurposed in my house where possible - even if it goes into the shredder, remade as handmade paper or into the garden for mulch. Happy creating.

The term junk journal originated from the fact that it was made from junk paper or junk mail or papers you would usually throw away.
