  • Hey, everyone!
    I'm really excited to share the cover for my upcoming book with you this week. I didn't expect the preorder to be ready yet, due to some delays with my editor, but it just went live the other day! Unfortunately, Amazon doesn't allow independent authors to set up preorders for print copies, so the preorder is currently for digital only--print copies will be available day of release, which is MARCH 28!! After SO MANY YEARS of working on this, it's hard to believe it's almost real ;__;
    If you're interested in preordering a digital copy, you can preorder here: books2read.com...
    The ebook will be Kindle exclusive for the first little bit so my readers who use Kindle Unlimited have a chance to read it, then the series will expand to all e-reader vendors and formats.
    If you want to see the cover in all its digital glory, you can have a look here:

    My site also has more information about the upcoming release, and since I recently restructured my layout and categories... I'm going to start sharing my doll & video updates on my site every week, too.
    Now, for the pattern project part. This week we're back to pattern drafting... on a very rainy day in a gloomy studio, but hey. :D We'll be making a pattern for a yukata-style kimono, but you can use this pattern to create the multiple layers needed for a formal kimono, too!
    You can also download a printable copy of the pattern I drew in this video here:

    It's in the nYID section! Now that I have more than two lady dolls, maybe I need to revise my categories... hmm.
    Lumia is an Impldoll Lydia.

    Ah, this is perfect! I’m currently sewing four Yukatas for my 11cm dolls. Now I know how to size them correctly. Thanks!

      Good luck! I know it's tough to sew for dolls that tiny!

    I made a yukata for my Ysobelle. I based it on a human size yukata. As for the obi, i had the ribbon part separated from the main obi. It's a bit of a hassle because of the size. Will try to make a furisode next time.

      That's kind of what I'm thinking for the obi, too--I just don't see how I'd be able to tie it well in such a small scale.
