I am truly sitting here crying. Our son passed away 4 months ago who was disabled and just listening to what he said makes me sick . I know your son. I am sure your son has given you a lot of joy and there are certainly a lot of challenges that come along with raising a child with a disability.

Im in my 70s now and used to substitute teach to help pay my way through college. my absolute favorite class was with the special needs children. They were so incredible and loving as each lined up for their turn for a hug which I was glad to,give. Their teacher loved her students so much she never took a day off but she finally could when she saw how the kids responded to me. I’m so glad I could help and I got far more from them than I ever gave. So if you ever get the chance to help a teacher a parent or a Neighbor with these incredible kids consider yourself blessed, I know I was.❤
