Imo, I think they need to hire more people to check out the bugs instead of letting the players do it for free.

I agree with you Serroh, I think they need to delay the next update coming in this summer so they can fix the updates because if not were going to have a lot more issues. I know they are trying to get everything to work properly but it is like when they fix one issue another one happens lol.
When I was decorating for this weeks dreamsnaps challenge, often when I exit furniture mode or walk past certain items they would visibly be gone however their shadows are still there and if itâs a fountain the water will still be visible. So the item is still there itâs just invisible. It took forever to get a photo with all the furniture visible. The platform i play on is PS5.

Same thing is happening on PC. I found that saving and exiting helps for a bit, then it happens again.
If u go into furniture mode and click on the invisible item it'll reappear.
Same issues on switch but my paths wouldnât save. I redid them 3 times and it would crash. I finally scaled the paths way down and said ok, Iâm done!!
Maybe I'm old, but I've never played a game that has been out for a long as DDV has and still has so many issues. What frustrates me the most is that gameloft doesn't seem to care about fixing the issues that don't get them money. Meanwhile there are people who can't play the game at all. The trello for DDV list not finding matryoshka dolls as a non issue. That means there are players who can't get Jack Skellington and gameloft doesn't view that as a problem.
I think they should delay everything until these issues are resolved and everyone can play the game as intended.
Biggest bugs for me are the disappearing furniture mode items and crashing. I'm just struggling so much to get a dreamsnap this week with those two things happening. It's frustrating but hopefully it'll all be fixed up soon enough and I'll be able to squeeze out some sort of snap this week (I play on the Switch).

I do have the disappearing furniture bug, which nearly gave me a heart attack because I finally got the Ferris Wheel and it disappeared! But it came back. The one bug that I have had since the START of the game is not being able to exit Ursula's house. Every single time I get stuck in there. Eventually I did find a work around, by just minimizing the game, then bringing it back up, I can leave. But I'm surprised this one hasn't been fixed after two years.
I donât understand when a company advertised this game as being a big deal on switch to have it not be operable on it, ever since the Disney/oswald update for me. Itâs been laggy, crashing, disappearing rides. I feel like my switch is an old ass windows 7 computer đ
My daughter plays on switch and has many issues. I think they need a version that is just optimized for the switch. I play on PC and have a much better experience than she does.
My game has been very laggy also, i thought at first it was all the items i have but im no where near item limit. My main pet peeve is the buildings loading in and out, breaks the immersion

I play on nintendo switch and my biggest bug is just something different everyday. Today is Daisy wont give me a challenge. Yesterday was items disappearing. Day before i couldnt vote on dreamsnaps. But usually it works no problem at all. My game crashes RARELY, only when ive been decorating for a long time across a large area. Just back out and save and go bsck to decorating. Easy fix.

The most annoying thing for me right now is not being able to start the daily Parks Fest quests to get those really needed green buttons! I am totally fine with them delaying new content while they focus on fixing bugs đ
Honestly Serroh, if they delay the game to fix these bugs, they should also restart the star path for those that could not progress, that or send players all of the rewards from the tokens. I say this because it isn't fair that these players couldn't get these items due to the glitches/crashes. And especially since they are starting to release older star path items for moonstones. That would be a huge slap to the face if they put these items in when some players couldn't get them due to progress issues.
They offer the game on Switch and the majority of players I have seen play this game on Switch so they need to support and design the game to work for Switch. If they developed it from a Switch first support and go from there, it would probably be best to serve the majority. Items disappearing for no reason is a game breaking aspect to a game designed for decorating. I am thinking these bugs kind of point to the aggressive update schedule and I would prefer they have a less packed update schedule for big updates and roll them out with less bugs.
Ugh I play on Steam and I too experience the item disappearing issue. However.k I havenât had any crashes so far. Stopped playing on switch months ago now that I play on steam deck. I still painfully remember how awful it was on the switch.
â@@sandiego2380 It has gotten way worse since the update. I think the patch fixed it a bit regarding crashes, it still crashes, but way less. After the update and before the recent patch, I literally had to do a thing immediately save because it was crashing every 5-10 minutes at random, not an exaggeration, it was rough. So now it is like maybe every few hours at random which is definitely better.
As much as I love my switch I honestly wish they wouldnât have put it on the system. It has way to many issues because it canât keep up.
It sucks to have so many bugs right when we have a decorating dreamsnap challenge plus the community challenge event. Hopefully they can fix them as quickly as possible.

My husband and I both play. At home we have our own consoles but traveling (like now) we are both sharing the SAME Xbox Series S. I lock up or am thrown out of the game every 2-5 minutes. My husband doesnât experience those crashes. Iâve been playing longer so my item count was on higher limits. I deleted several biomes of decorations to bring my item numbers down thinking it was the cause. Unfortunately this didnât improve the situation. My game is practically unplayable. Crabs rarely spawn (getting tons of Tilapia) so grinding Star path is a problem. I have missing items making dreamsnaps hard. I hope they extend the festival as Iâm having quest issues there too. I Love the game - when itâs playable. I support the premium shop and am super frustrated right now. Delay further updates and fix the game PLEASE
I have the sam issues I'm on xboxs also making it hard to do anything my game crashes every 3 to 5 min I can't hang out with jack to get the coins for starpath only getting 3 /5 minutes with him or less completely understand your frustration there with you

I would rather have them fix all the game breaking bugs that are messing with the game before adding any more content because I feel that would add to even more bugs and more dissatisfied players.
Iâm on Nintendo Switch and ever since the Daisy update Iâve been noticing the following bugs/glitches now some of them did get fixed like the way we would see the back of windows/doors/furniture inside buildings and the game not crashing as much but even though they fixed the crashing where it wouldnât happen as often I still experience crashing here and there. Iâve also noticed a bug where itâs hard to exit Scrooge shop and I noticed a bug/glitch when I purchase new items in Scrooge shop instead of the new items appearing on the right side like they are supposed to when you collect a new item it doesnât show up in Scrooge shop automatically once purchased I literally have to walk outside of Scrooge shop and thatâs when Iâll see I collected the new furniture items Iâve purchased. Not sure why I have to walk outside now just to see that. Iâve also noticed when purchasing furniture and new furniture pretty much purchasing anything inside Scrooge shop when I purchase anything my game does a small glitch where the screen quickly turns black and then it goes back to normal when Iâve never noticed this before this Daisy Duck update. Iâve also noticed when I first unlocked Daisy Duck when the update first came out her character model was glitchy here and there when she moved doesnât happen as often, but from time to time Iâll see her glitching out.
I have no problems with the dress...but I have problems with the festival, the Dreamsnaps, cooking and a weird closeup that appears all of a sudden no matter what I am doing, and there's no way to turn it off. These things happen, and usually we end up with something cool like extra moonstones as a "sorry".
There was a few times I talked to WALL·E to pick up the daily mission, it runs through dialogue, and doesnât activate the mission. I have no idea how I got it to start working again. Itâs strange. i still frequently have furniture disappearing. I play on PS5.
Here are some glitches I had and some helpful fixes.
Bug:Scrooge would loop the first weekly quest for me (a dialogue loop)
Fix: Make sure your inventory has tonnes of room for the recipes. I made my bag almost empty.
Bug: some characters would not trigger their daily quest the following day. For example Scrooge, Ursula and Wall-E would, but Moana and Mickey's quest would not be in my quest lists.
Fix: restart the game like you would for a Scrooge shop refresh.

I will say - I play on Steam and Iâm experiencing crashes at a minimum every 30 minutes - I also canât accept cupcake quests or complete Star-path because of how often Iâm crashing, in these timed events itâs very frustrating. Itâs not just switch.
I wish the actual daily cupcake quests were just a bug.
I donât find it fun, lol.
Plus, milk and butter are not cheap.
And, my game crashes TOO much for me to attempt farming pumpkins, right now.
Not liking all these bugs
on xbox, the game crashes after several simple commands, as is trying to leave the map page, changing from eternity island to the valley, basically everything and anything you can do in the valley, outside. fishing, running, harvesting, gathering, just existing, the game crashes. the most annoying, is that sometimes it crashes also if i manually save...
The workarounds i found is mainly to do all tasks indoors or on eternity island. I'm advancing the star path mainly on eternity island, because that doesn't crash at all.
For the cupcakes quests, i always start all the daily quests, Mickey, Moana, Scrooge, Ursual, etc, all of them, then go into Remy's restaurant, make all the cupcakes there, and hand it out to everyone in the restaurant. You can give multiple cupcakes to the same character, just diff types. As in, for example, if Merlin is there, i give him a Minnie, a Stitch, a Space cupcake, and it's 1 task done for each separate quest. Before leaving the restaurant, i save the game manually, then leave, then the game crashes, i reload and collect the rewards, save again.
But it's such a frustrating work around....

I just finished making all the buckets and now I am just going to play in Eternity Island until the bugs are fixed because thr crashing is ridiculous
Today I didn't the green buttons for completing the cupcake quests with Wall-E or Moana, so no popcorn bucket today
It's hardly just the switch based on power, we play mainly on an Xbox Series X, and we've seen the exact same quest triggering issues, rides becoming see through, ect. It's definitely buggy across the board for more consoles than just the switch.
You can get your head to completely disappear in the dress if you get the right angles with the squirrel
My dreamsnap gave me so many issues last night with stuff disappearing! Hope they are aware of this and fix it soon!
I got the ride disappearing bug and it's not counting my popcorn buckets, despite making two already. And can't find Daisy's wardrobe despite having Daisy to level 10.
This happened to me and I found out It only counts when you place the popcorn buckets in furniture mode for the village tab popcorn enthusiasts
Mine didnt count when I placed it, but I put it on a table instead of the ground and then it did đ€·đ»ââïž

I'm on Xbox. Can't even get onto dreamlight valley at times. Eternity isle is perfect. If I get over it crashes every 2 to 3 mins. Have to save every time I do anything of importance. Almost impossible to do starpath with dreamlight exclusive quests. So aggravating!
Not only are items invisible, I lost allot of my items that I bought in my inventory. I have proof I bought them before as I used them to decorate my house. But now they not in my inventory and when I try to buy extras, they donât exist in Scrooges store to buy either. Even if I put the item back into my inventory, it still doesnât show in Scrooges store to buy more. So frustrating.
Guys please remember to submit your issues to game loft including what console your on and any photos or videos of the issue you have so it makes it easier for them to fix the issues.
Only bug I've encountered is random crashing. A fair amount, but it's pretty random. Some days I get none at all, usually at least one though.
My biggest complaint is anytime I try to do my star path duties it scans over them and I can't click on them. If I finish the ones I remember it doesn't register I did them. I spent a lot of moonstones to get the extra duties so that's pretty frustrating
it's not just the megara dress that's broken, your face and head disappears in the squirrel and fox poses if you get the camera to close
Personally, even though I've experienced barely any issues, I think it would be best if they delayed the update for a week or two in order to focus on fixing bugs and maybe even extending the starpath or sending some extra buttons in the mail for those who couldn't advance in the event due to the bugs
The disappearing bug and the glows not working properly at night are the most frustrating for me. It's so strange because the rain seems to fix the glows, but that doesn't help when I'm trying to do a night snap.
Disappearing items, the outdoor cooking are both bugs I have on steam. But thereâs another⊠sometimes after crafting the camera zooms all the way in and the only way to get out of walking around that way is to restart. That one I havenât seen much talk on but itâs so bad for anyone with vertigo like myself đŹ
I have the disappearing items after decorating also. Sometimes going into a house will fix it for awhile. It's been obvious to me that their budget goes heavily to the 3d objects and little on the programming... that was confirmed after reading employee reviews on Glass Door a few days ago. (They don't pay the programmers very well and get them right out of school or use college interns.)
as much i want Mulan but they need to fix these issues i only had things being odd today like the outdoor items disappearing.
I'm just glad for the premium shop houses that I have placed in different biomes, so I can refuel my energy since I can't cook outside.
@Greenrosesims - My work-around for this has been to carry around 50 Mocha coffee. They only take up one spot in your chest but they are invaluable to me for keeping energy in the yellow so my avatar can sprint around when she needs to. It takes a long time to go through 50 Mochas - and meantime, I have more cooking in my ancient cooker for when I need to refill that slot. :)
Something is wrong with my Dazzle Beach. Shellfish and flowers will respawn very slowly. Iâve been trying to complete the weekly Dream Fest quest to get 40 green buttons. I slowly collected all of the items Scrooge asked for. However, in the past four days, I have only been able to collect one purple hydrangea. No others have appeared for days! I have no idea how to fix it.
Items are disappearing but shows a shadow where they are.
The game is so great, but as of right now it's frustrating and virtually unplayable. The crashing is worse than ever and the bugs are crazy. My Dreamsnap was lame because the pretzel cart disappeared. Also, saving the game is pointless as when it crashes about 30-40 minutes of gameplay gets erased anyway.
If you use a critter pose in 3rd camera mode while wearing the Megara dress, your character's whole face or head disappears when you zoom in and out! It even stays headless in the photo.
My game crashed the second I got Oswald to level up. My game took back to 1 the guest stopped working Daisy still has no quests. My name just keeps getting worse and I m this close to quitting or taking a long break
I finally decided "enough is enough". I am going to quit playing until it is running smoother. Crash every time I get on.

Dreamsnaps are really difficult to get around I hate the disappearing items
Blue buttons are one of the things Iâm actually having luck with. Iâve caught blue buttons out of blue circles a couple of times. Donât think thatâs supposed to happen.
I'm having no issues on one account, but the other has an abysmal drop rate. Neither is 50% though, to be sure.
I fished probably 20 circles before I got a button drop yesterday, I was starting to think it was bugged for me
@@CMinorOp67 I also caught blue buttons out of blue circles a few times. The only reason I fish the blue circles is so that they often turn white afterwards. I found one spot in the Meadows last evening where Goofy (my fishing buddy) and I stayed in one spot and fished over and over and over again. I got over 80 blue buttons in one session with it spraying buttons on the ground twice during that time. We were fishing at the smallest pond (close to the bottom of the path leading from the Plaza and behind my avatar's back is where Goofy's house was originally. It's still in the same spot in my game.) I couldn't believe my good luck! I just wish I could get more green buttons from the quests. At the rate I'm going (completing the daily quests) it will take me the entire 20 days to get enough green buttons to craft all of the popcorn buckets ~ lol

I got a blue button during the time where an activity throws out multiples. I was hoping to get multiple blue buttonsâŠbut it threw out Here and There fish.
If you can't start a cupcake quest, restart the switch. This worked for me. To restart, hold the power button and click power options then restart 3:15
I was trying to take my dream snaps and a lot of the attractions and decorations we just vanish and they werenât there. So I just stop try to click on them bring them back and Iâll be gone again. This is really disheartening about dream snaps.
The bug I'm experiencing right now is talking quests between characters. Rapunzel and mother gothel just walk up to each other and keep turning oddly but won't talk no matter what i try.
Ooo it also keeps saying i have touch of magic items in my dream snaps when i don't so i can't do submissions
I have the park fest quest bug, closed out since that seems to fix most of the bugs I have experienced in this game so far, but now all the daily park fest quests have disappeared đą
I think there put some updates in for glitches overtime. My daughter was finally able to access her Eternity Isle for the first time after the Merlin teleporter quest had been bugged for months for her. She's played since the patch and still wasn't able to access it till today so I think we are getting small silent patches to fix stuff that doesn't require a full game update.
one smaller issue i had when i started playing after the update was that i had MASSIVE frame drops and i didnt know why until i decided to get rid of my pumpkin patch. this one was smaller than the ones ive had up and running before since i only farm them when im bored or need to do a task. for some reason it was really pushing it this time, so im not planting anything at the moment in case it happens again :( for the festival im lucky that scrooge is still giving me the daily quest, but hes the only one who does so theres that. its a pain finding the red button though, they spawn rarely on my end and they vaccum doesnt seem to catch them. takes like 30-so mins of me running the game before i even see the first one of the day.
Everything keeps disappearing, and it keeps crashing. What the heck? I haven't been able to complete my dreamsnap submission. đą
I have given every single one of my villagers, a cupcake, and I still havenât finished the cupcake quest so frustrating
This is a daily quest. Are you accepting it each day or are you unable to complete it at all?

My Scrooge and Ursula button quests for the event will not start either. Extremely frustrating
I'm on PlayStation and these crashes are frustrating. Every, like, five minutes or so. When i pick up an orb, crash. When i try and fish, crash. How are we supposed to get anything done! Unless they fix the crashing before June, I'm afraid I wont be able to complete the event or the Starpath. I love this game and use it as an escape, but at the moment I don't enjoy it.
My valley ia full of orbs...just left ...to stop me crashing...hopefully one day...I can pick them up.
TIP: When you load game...just do the button fest things...do not try and save unless in your house. During quest DO NOT...check scrooge store, Daisy shop, Kristoff stall, Goofy stall, Beast flowers, Mona boat...pick up Orbs or use menu bar.... only cook and craft in your house...and save in house...At least then you can save where you are up to on the fest button quest. Only thing seems to of worked for me...I just do that...then after have to do the re load crash reload crash to do the stalls and shops bit and save in house...painful...but better than before...slightly...
Crashing for me still, but found that when doing the button fest thing, as long as I don't enter Scrooge or Daisy shop, don't go to Goofy or Kristoff stall or beast flower stall or Moanas fish boat and only save game in my house, cook and craft...I manage to save progress. Ps4. Better than before where it just crashed all time. Hopefully they will sort soon, but I understand these things can happen.
Oh and forgot...don't press to go in main menu unless in house I found as it would crash.
I really think the disappearing items bug came from trying to fixe the doors and window issue where they would show up when you walked in a room. It didn't really start until after the hot fix, and it seems to be items the are too close the the view screen.
I didn't mind the bugs until this last hot fix. Now, my game crashes 2 or 3 times an hour, characters and clothes are glitchy, everything randomly freezes. But the worst was it took an hour to get my dream snap last night when it should've taken a few minutes. It just kept crashing or bugging out. On Xbox One. No previous problems in the past year.
I know this is off topic but I love how serroh's female looks the makeup and hair colors I absolutely love it would love to see how she was designed as in what colors were used for all makeup and hair colors
The bugs are caused by something called "spagetti coding" it's a term to describe all the different codes crashing with each other the more codes there are the more possible bugs it creates. For every new bug fix, there is new codes to create new bugs. It's a bad downward spiral, and it gets like that because the groundwork of the game wasn't solid enough to begin with. This happens to most new games now a days as they keep launching unfinished games. It is greed and unpatience. A drive to push the games out to the users weey too soon
I submitted the disappearing objects issue to game loft because itâs nearly impossible to decorate or do the Dreamsnap!
I wonder if the bugs and performance issues are why we haven't gotten the Skull Rock reveal or other major continuations of the base game story?
On a happier note, I believe Moana's Cupcake quests are hinting that Princess Aurora might be coming to the game soon.
I have the game on both the Switch and the Xbox Series S , and it crashes on both! The Xbox crashing has made the game on playable!

I love the graphics on the Xbox but i can't stand the crashing every few minutes or so.
Switch still crashes but i can at least get 30 minutes to an hour out of it. Here's to hoping these issues are resolved sometime soon đ€

I ran around with a giant salmon on my screen until I restarted and I keep getting rain in scramble coin in the middle of the screen. Moana is not interactive with that cupcake quest.....
For some reason, when I go to another shop and get a dress, it won't show up in my inventory. I can get furniture
I play on ps5. Half my shop items have been missing since before the update. 2 of the token types disappeared after the first day (flat ones on ground and not getting white fishing spots). Daisy's final quest, I'm supposed to follow a glitter trail that isn't there to follow
I play on pc and the only glitch I had was the cooking one, I can do the button quests and decorate without objects disappearing. And normal play is fine for me. Just cooking outside will black out my screen
Honestly, my extreme worry is that since the issues especially when the game crashing every few minutes for Switch players (including myself) is that Disney Dreamlight Valley will stop doing updates for us Switch players. I extremely hope that doesn't happen, because I absolutely love this game.

I'm on PS5. My items keep disappearing during Photo Mode. White fishing spots don't appear as often as they used to. Some characters don't give green buttons for cupcakes. No real crashes, thankfully (knock on wood...)
Placing down the Elegant Gazebo leaves invisible walls where the poles were after you delete it đ My dunes and plaza are hard to walk around.
My nightmare before Christmas tree is just gone!! I wanted to move Jack. Put the tree in my inventory and itâs not in my inventory. Items disappear as Iâm decorating. Quests wonât work but goes thru the dialogue but wonât give me the quest. I have to relog. Iâm on PC. This is the worst that the game has been. Itâs so broken some days I canât play. It may be no dreamsnaps for me this week.
It would make Halloween fun with the headless dress!! I saw some peopleâs pics without a head!! Haha.
While I feel for PC players having to deal with bugs, I feel like some of them would already have quit if faced with the myriad of problems that Switch players have had to deal with since Day One. There has never been a time ever where the game didn't crash a few times a day, more recently several, and that doesn't even address the subpar performance even when it works or the 2-3 minutes of loading time after every crash.
If Gameloft didn't test the game enough to understand how poorly it would run on Switch, that was a big mistake.
You are right about that! From what Iâve heard about on Switch, Iâd be done for sure. Games that are too frustrating defeat the point of playing a game.

It's the inconsistency for me. I play on PC, steam deck, and switch (with 6000 item limit due to playing on the other two). Switch has been running like a DREAM for me, whereas the other two are chugging, freezing, glitching (no crashes YET). Makes zero sense.
Is the fact that itâs been raining in my valley EVERY TIME Iâve logged on over the past 2 days a bug? Or a curse?

I got the bugged out Fest Quests the evening it was dropped ... I was able to do Scrooge's and WALL-E's but then it bugged out on the other 3
I also got the vanishing Items for the Dreamsnap, however, logging off to the Title screen and relogging fixed that for me. (I play through Steam on PC)
My Solution for the next update would be to, Yes, release the Mulan Realm and the associated Star Path with it, however, instead of the extra features we've been getting, make the next update more of an Optimization/Bug Fix update.
The worst for playstation (I play on a PS4 Pro, but I know it's been affecting PS5 players too) is the constant crashing. It was like this before too, during the Scar update. If you touch the menu the game instantly crashes. All the hotfix did was allow the menu to open before crashing. So far I've been able to play and decorate (but not interact with Goofy's stall, which is annoying) as long as I go indoors to save or check on quests/starpath tasks. Eternity Isle is working perfectly though, zero issues once the 3D glasses bug was fixed.
The dress fix should be easy, I think all they forgot to do was put an alpha mask over the legs. Although I don't know why the fabric is pointy at the knee.
Rides disappeared and so do the fountains âČïžâŠ. Replaced them down đ
I ran into the cupcake quest dialogue issue today and I play on PC/Steam. It was fine just yesterday but today it's broken. đ
I feel bad for the devs. I canât imagine how stressful it must be for them. Itâs just a game to me but itâs their job. They usually take care of the players when things go awry so I will just wait. As long as itâs not permanent I understand.
@craftygurl - This is how I feel, too. My game crashes stopped with the hot fix (I'm on PC) and the only bug I have experienced since then is that with Daisy's challenge, I can only complete it if there isn't a specific clothing item needed. The day it said "shorts", my avatar tried on every pair of shorts, the check mark never came up, and Daisy kept saying that I hadn't completed the challenge. Same with the day it said "tops" and so forth. I am just glad that we can now reject a challenge and try again, but it's a lot of work to find a challenge without a wardrobe item listed. My consolation is that I know how passionate Gameloft is about this game and there is no doubt in my mind that they are doing everything humanly possible to fix the broken links between in-game processes.

don't remember how long ago this was. not too recently, last week maybe so before the new park stuff. i went into remy's and there was a fishing ripple on the floor. tried to fish in it but as expected, couldn't
wasn't the issue with the meg dress the upper part of your characters legs were gone which means to see this to check if you have the glitch you'd have to look up the dress while running
I had to do the stitch cupcake quest three times đ
Im playing on switch and i have the issue in furniture mode.. come out of furniture mode to take a pic, and half the items disappear.. If i restart they do return but have to be quick and take the pic before it starts glitching and disappearing again.. Trying to complete my dreamsnap this week is a little... challenging! Also, noticed im still getting the blue eggs spawning in the meadow?!?
I agree, putting a hold on all the new content and concentrating on the game breaking bugs, at the very least, if not the majority of the bugs is a good plan. Otherwise, they will find they'll just keep piling up and they may end up losing players due to the frustration level. That being said, I play on Steam Deck and have had a few of the mentioned bugs. However, I didn't purchase Megara dress because I am waiting until they fix it. I'd rather spend my moonstones on something else.
I play on Nintendo Switch and right now itâs not glitching as much as it was. I did have to go inside to cook though. And I did not that whenever I brought Oswald to the valley it would shut down. Now heâs able to come.
