Since the smaller planet is called Theia, that means the early Earth must have been called Gaia.

Welp, making a lesbian relationship out of the formation of the Earth was not something I thought I would hear today but here we are!

In case anyone else was curious, there are about 11,840 Manhattans per Texas, so in the neighborhood of 2.37 million Manhattans per Mars.

Forever embedded in earth's core, and a beautiful satellite, a piece of what remained, that only faces earth on one side forever.

It's pretty wild when you look at models of the internal structures inside the earth that they've sussed out from earthquake timings and such. Earth ain't a clean ball of rock, she's got big bones and is curved in all the right places.
(barf, did I just make that joke?)

The moon is an alien spacecraft. There are ancient stories of the time before the moon.

The determinant failure had nothing to do with this. It was leaving port with an unresolved power problem in the reefers.
