Teníamos un tocadiscos y en los 70 comenzaron a llegar los vinilos de los 4 magníficos, llegue a tener casi todos. que con el tiempo, como pasa con los libros prestados...quedaron en manos amigas, en buena hora, extraño esos tiempos felices de la juventud, pero ahora estoy bien he vivido!!

I'm happy I saw The Beatles at NY Mets Shea Stadium on August 15, 1965. How it happened, my 16-year-old sister was given the task to purchase five tickets in advance for herself and four girlfriends. At the last minute, one of the girls couldn't go. My father was just about to drive them to the LIRR, He told my sister, "Take Kevin" I remember the train ride as all girls, many of which was singing Beatles songs, at the stadium our seats were just behind the 3rd base dugout about 6 or 7 rows back. I remember girls screaming, giant bed sheets painted with different "I Love You" Flash cameras going off all over the stadium, and girls fainting. I could hardly hear the screaming, I was only 12 going on 13 years old. Lucky me I was there! I saw Paul's "New World Tour" in 1993, again at NY Citifield's "Return to Shea" in 2009. I turned 71 last month, still listening to The Beatles.

I raised my hand, pointing at me the entire crowd of people looking at me. People near me asked me what it was like at the 65' concert. I replied, I got to see John Lennon 😃

Desde mis tempranos trece años, en 1964, he sido fanático de Los Beatles. Crecí como adolescente tarareando sus canciones y cuando ya estaba en la Universidad decidí estudiar inglés lo que me permitió conocer a fondo la letra de esas increíbles canciones. Hoy, con casi 50 años de labor docente, aún activo, tengo a Los Beatles como el mejor grupo musical de todos los tiempos. John, Paul, George y Ringo seguirán por siempre deleitando mi vida.

In 1964 I was 11 years old. I remember the Ed Sullivan show. And I remember the Beatles and what an impression they made on me. Might as well say I grew up with them. I didn’t know and realize that by the time I was 17 years old, they were ready to break up and say goodbye. They sure did inspire me a lot about music. And especially about playing guitar. With the inspiration of George Harrison and the music of Creedence Clearwater, revival and the Eagles and a few others in 1974 I picked up my first guitar. Thanks you all of your music, John Paul, George and Ringo. You guys were the best band around the world as far as I was concerned. I was very sad about the death of John Lennon. And the Death of George Harrison. 2001. also, another one of my favorite guitar players died in 2001. None other than Chad Adkins. He was also a great inspiration for me to pick up a guitar. I am grateful that these people were in my life I know I never knew them, but they really inspired me. And thank you too for all of the beautiful music. May the good Lord keep them in his care and keeping . I know none of us last forever, but it would be nice if we did thank you Beatles for all the wonderful music and your gift to society.👍🏼😁😎🎸

Eu nasci em março de 1950. Desde pequeno eu gostava de Ouvir musicas cujos discos meu pai comprava. No início da década de 60 o meu primo um dia trouxe um compacto duplo de uns cabeludos com Taste of Honey, Twist and shout, We can work it out e mais uma cujo nome não me lembro agora. A figura dos musicos era estranha para mim, mas as musicas soavam bem. Eu devia ter 13 anos. Eu não tinha dinheiro para comprar discos, mas quando eu conseguia comprar um disco era daquele conjunto e eu me sentia muito feliz. Obrigado Inglaterra, Obrigado Liverpool, Obrigado Brian Epstein, Obrigado George Martin, Obrigado John, Paul, George e Richard Starkey. Durante toda Minha juventude voces me ajudaram a sonhar melhor. Hoje aos 73 anos o meu cabelo é bem grande, e minha saúde está ótima. I thank you so much for all the things I've learned with you about music, about rock and roll, about life. Thanks.

Eu nasci em março de 1950. Desde pequeno eu gostava de Ouvir musicas cujos discos meu pai comprava. No início da década de 60 o meu primo um dia trouxe um compacto duplo de uns cabeludos com Taste of Honey, Twist and shout, We can work it out e mais uma cujo nome não me lembro agora. A figura dos musicos era estranha para mim, mas as musicas soavam bem. Eu devia ter 13 anos. Eu não tinha dinheiro para comprar discos, mas quando eu conseguia comprar um disco era daquele conjunto e eu me sentia muito feliz. Obrigado Inglaterra, Obrigado Liverpool, Obrigado Brian Epstein, Obrigado George Martin, Obrigado John, Paul, George e Richard Starkey. Durante toda Minha juventude voces me ajudaram a sonhar melhor. Hoje aos 73 anos o meu cabelo é bem grande, e minha saúde está ótima. I thank you so much for all the things I've learned with you about music, about rock and roll, about life. Thanks.
