Hare Krishna !!
Try out this South Indian sambar rice which is a one pot meal. It is not just instant but super delicious with soothing, calm and flavourful ingredients. This wonderful dish is just amazing and a must try for anytime quick, healthy meals which is loaded with so many veggies.
Serving - 5
Ingredients :
1 cup rice
1/2 cup toor dal
5 cups water
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 lemon sized tamarind ( 2 to 3 tbsp tamarind pulp )
1/4 cup water
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard seed
1/4 tsp fenugreek seed
1/4 tsp asafoitida or hing
2 dried red chilli
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Some curry leaves
1 drumstick
1 carrot
5 to 6 beans
1 potato
2 brinjal
Salt to taste
1 tomato
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
2 tbsp sambar masala
1 cup water
1 cup water
1 tbsp ghee
Garnish it with some chopped coriander leaves
