Thanks for the great video. This battery with an efficient Sst40 or Sft40 led plus reverse charging would make a great survival kit light.

It would be really cool if instead of this being in this shape, it was just the shape of a 30,000 mA hour battery but happened to have some very bright emitters. This way it would really be a battery bank with flashlight functionality. I guess having the round shape is better to have one large emitter with maximum throw, but let’s face it. If you really wanted a dedicated light you wouldn’t buy this one. For me if I bought this, it would just be a novelty power bank because I would certainly not grab this as my first flashlight to take out on a walk or something like that, it would just be for fun and I just don’t know if I can justify the cost. I already have power and flashlights with enough throw. The young kid and me wants to buy one, but I probably won’t. If I bought this, it would just sit on my desk and in my mind I would know “I have this really large power bank with a really large, ability to throw light “ but I just think that that’s not worth spending 150 bucks.

Your charger mustn't be switching over to fast charging as my unit charged in 7.5 hrs. I used an Imalent 100W brick and had no issues. It's either your power brick or usb tester causing the issue.

Thanks for letting me know. It's probably USB tester limiting the current, but I also used standard 18W phone charger. Might be both factors extending charging time. 7.5h still sounds like eternity to me, as Imalent SR32 battery pack charges in 2h...

Towards the last part of your video for I would say if Astrolux invents an external Battery Charger to accomodate this massive 46950 cell, then there shouldn't be any problems about slow battery charging time which currently only achievable solely through the light itself, as one can easily replace the with another fresh 46950 cell in anytime and put the used one into the external charger.

Slow charging? Mine finished in 7.5 hrs which is quite fast considering the massive capacity. I used my 100W Imalent charger and had no slow charging issues.

A Good Quality Brand for sure, but that 3000 Metters is just Bleah... I got the MF02 xhp35hi from Astrolux, I love it.
