Andrew, thank you so much for these videos. I just joined the gym, and the intimidation factor about not knowing how to use the machines was huge! Your videos helped me understand how the machines work and made it much easier to start. Thank you so much!
If you use this machine 3/4 times a week over the course of 1 year, you will see huge gains. Keep increasing the weights as you progressively get stronger. I started doing like 40lbs, now I'm at 80lbs.
@el7075 Yes. You do 10 repetitions, rest for 30 seconds, and repeat. 10+10+10+10 (10x4). If you can't do 4 sets, the weights are too heavy, but keep pushing yourself, increase 5lbs every week or 2. Your body can handle more than your mind.
This is a late af reply but early afternoon or before noon on weekdays and evenings on weekends is pretty empty. Also super late at night is also an option if you dont mind working out around 9/10pm (depends on when your pf closes)
Brady Oliver front handles are for the front of the shoulders and the other are for the the top of the shoulders hope this helps. Also just use lighter weight overtime you’ll get there to StrongLifts! & shoulders
@matthew tantYes. You get as much reward as the effort you put in to it. There is such snobbishness in so many of these comments. Any kind of need a person has to condemn, denigrate, insult or demean comes from their mind being narrow and a smallness of personality that no amount of weight lifting will override.
From a 49 yr old beginner - thank you for the videos. They help a lot!
That planet fitness is huge. The one I go to is big but not nearly as many machines as the one there.
I love Andrew’s videos! Just perfect for 64 yo beginners, such as myself!

Awsome demo
Can you do a how to operate the controls on the total body enhancement? That would be awesome. Nobody explains that during the tours.
Wish there was a gym like that where I live!!!
this is a good one I do these then reverse pec deck and lateral raises
Thank you-i was using that machine today and was not sure why there were two choices of handles
Do you know what part of the shoulders the different grips train?
Those ceiling fans are trippy lol
Is this a good substitute if the gym doesn't have a bar for barbell overhead press? Cause the planet fitness only has Smith machines.
thank you
What time do you film these videos? I like when it’s empty

Which muscle groups do the different handles work? Or is about the same ? I really struggle with that machine, my shoulders are pathetically weak

@@hypnotyz147 I know the front one is for front shoulder but the other one is for the side Delts?
No way, my old gym!
Should my wrist be straight or can it be bended
Do u know what muscle groups both grips train?
Is this considered an overhead press machine?
Explain the 2 grips and muscle function
One grip targets the traps and the other outside shoulders, i just used this, this morning
Thanks 👍🏻

Yes, eat more cheese burger and then even LA fitness cannot save you. Let alone Planet.
