    I'm looking to do this in my kitchen, previous owner had strange taste in colour! I'm not confident enough to take off my wall plugs, but from past experience, if you pull off the tape whilst it's still wet it doesn't peel the pain off, but I guess it's time consuming taping them back up before each coat. Hello, this looks great and it seems like the easiest option for me to do myself rather than attempt to tile over the old tiles. Is it suitable for behind the hobs area? I am planning to put a toughened splashback class there on top of the tiles.

    • @Inexteriors
      @Inexteriors  Před 3 lety +1

      @Margarita Dimitrova Yes it is suitable around the hob erea, just wipe any thing of with soft cloth straight away, if you was to use a green scouring pad it probably would damage ir over time as, a glass splash back is a great idea, let me know how you get on.

    • @Inexteriors
      @Inexteriors  Před 3 lety +1

      @Amy Duruji . In a ideal world you would remove the silicone paint the tiles then re silicone, as for the grout i just painted it in, if you wanted to remove grout then paint then 're grout that is up to you and how far you want to go, if you got paint on the silicone it does clean of easy. its all about progress not perfection.

    Hi Steven, just a quick question. Does the paint flake especially next to the cooker due to the high heat? Also are stains easily wipe able?
    Thanks for the video!

    • @Inexteriors
      @Inexteriors  Před 4 lety +4

      This stuff is very durable and does wipe down, as for the cooker erea it doesn't get direct flame or heat of a electric hob as pans would sit on the hob so its mostly just moisture, you would probably have to repaint every 3 years to keep it tip top, like most things have to be maintained.
      But you would only need to give it one coat if you was painting it again, if you are using the same colour.
      hope this helps.

      If i remember it was a 3hr recoat time and fully dry after 24hrs, then a further 20 days for it to fully harden. Maybe you have not left it long enough in between coats . Or you might not be loading the roller up enough. If that is the case it causes you to put pressure on the roller witch in turn may cause the not fully dried paint to come of.

      You would probably still see the brush marks if you was to roll over it with 1 more coat. Maybe a couple of coats might ease it a bit.
