Whatever you pay this man to do these videos, you need to give him more because he seriously kept me glued to my seat the whole time.
Yes and I’m not even that interested in videos like this most the time. Lol
Agreed!
He's getting paid by those 9 ads in a 30 min video. Smh
He gets paid in cocaine. He gets paid well
You got that right !!!
There's just something to be said about watching a man do what he loves to do. I'm sure he didn't start out in life wanting to do counter tops but you can see his passion in his skill and attitude. THAT'S why we're watching these videos all the way through. Just fantastic work.
love his enthusiasm! makes you want to hire him to do your countertops immediately!
He is what you call a 'SALESMAN'!
He is selling a product, and his enthusiasm!
And he certainly has lots of buyers! Doesn't he?
And he could sell anything!!! To anyone!!!
Whether it is 3 card Monte, or epoxy counter tops, when someone is this smooth I usually back out of the room, with my hand on my wallet! There are 'good' (ethical) salesmen and evil (unethical) salesmen but you usually don't know which the guy is until 'later'!
But the smoothness of the guy makes me be wary or at least very aware, as I back out........
@@paulortiz2035 Any salesman can be outed by a significant amount of reviews and a brief education in the product and service. Any salesperson who comes off as awkward or unsure of what they're doing and/or selling, will put customers off the product. Sigmund Freud once said, "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar." Yes, there are snake oil salesmen out there but the truly successful contractors and companies tend to have customers who recommend them to others. There will always be some entitled snob who will give bad reviews just to stir the manure. Look at the amount of happy customers or BBB reports.
Why does he not have a tv show? His whole team is amazing and the work they do is just wonderful. I watch the entire episode without skipping ahead. Love the work. Keep up the great work!!!!!
Why does everyone have to be owned (and operated) by a television producer? I'll never understand why people say such a thing. Better to be in control of your own content (and destiny).
I need this guy to be my life coach.... This is the kind of positivity and motivation I'm missing.
Give this man his own TV Show! He has a great way to explain things, and it is even ENTERTAINING, while learning something cool. I am not even sure why I watched this video, but I enjoyed it.
Of all the DIY videos I've seen on CZcams or anywhere, THIS is the most detailed, useful and even entertaining I've ever seen. Hats off to these guys, you did beautiful work here.
havent watched Ben Eater before then
I totally agree with you . I was glued to it till the end.
I love all your pro tips, because not everyone would think of those things. In my opinion the countertops were WAYYYY better BEFORE the marble spray:) The amount of marble spray kinda made it look too manufactured in my opinion. But it definitely looked great either way! You guys are so good at this! I dont know that I could ever make something that looks so perfect!
Really liked it before, but loved the look of the silver marble spray. Would choose to do about 1/3 the total marbling to keep it special and understated.
I love the super shiny clear coat epoxy final layer so much more than the creamy roll-on in most of your other videos too.
that's so weird, i did NOT like the silver marble spray at all because it was too aluminum-ish looking (unreal looking IMO), but everyone is so different, we all see it differently, lol. It's crazy. I'm sure my taste is weird to many as well. I too loved the super shiny clear coat. But I can see the matte finish as well on some other projects they've done (like their vacation home by the river --- I really liked the matte finish).
Oops I posted a similar comment before I saw yours. I totally agree with you about less marble spray.
These are probably the highest quality videos I have ever seen on CZcams to make you learn something. The way he makes these videos and he pays attention to detail was absolutely phenomenal. You my friend are terrific.
How can a video be so satisfying to watch and educational at the same time? how?!?
Is it just me? I just feel capable of remodeling my entire kitchen after watching this haha
Deyvid Bitencout , thanks for your kind feedback! What color recipe would you choose for your kitchen?
It looks easy but it never is! Reason: they’ve mastered techniques, weather moisture,temp.. The just right mixing.( I tried everything Bc I have to but I am a novice.)
How can I get you guys in Dallas
Wow! Gorgeous. I would have quit before the marbling, but after I saw the completed work, I loved it. You guys are great!
Absolutely beautiful! This is a perfect diy video. He covers everything, including tips! I want this for my countertops and prefer the veins.
Thank you so much, glad it was helpful! We can not wait to see your work Connie!💪
@@StoneCoatCountertops what about the lip on the end of the countertops on old fermica. Think it's for spillage. Do we put bonds in so it's not as noticable?
@@StoneCoatCountertops how much it’s per Square feet? I am interested asap! Thank you!
are those chemicals safe after finishing the work at home? Please I really need to know
Wow. a diy video that I didnt skip constantly. This man is the perfect teacher, so engaging and instructive.
Yes!! I miss the days of actually having showw to help you renovate your own home. Not just renovating to sell etc. ao boring now
Taking that drop down counter top when you move, to make a coffee table???
That gets a BIG THUMBS DOWN!!!!👎👎👎
WHY?
Because then that little island won't be matching the rest of the counter tops!!! And that will look very strange!!! And you might miss a buyer!!!
And that is MY PRO TIP for this guy!!!
I have the exact same comment, he is so great and full of positivity that I did not fast forward at all!

They are probably the cleanest crew I ever seen after remolding a kitchen
there is another 2 other guys on youtube, both of them are re-modelers. One guy is in Canada and the other is in West USA.

I love love the before and after marble look but more so after ❤️ I just recently brought a house at 23 and I am definitely doing the budget friendly DIY.
Hello Ms Kanise…. I watched this video and just wanted to check out comments to see what the consensus was for before and after the marble effect. Your comment caught my attention because you liked it more after than before. But what sparks this reply is that you purchased a house at 23.. wow! I don’t know you, and please don’t take this as condescending because it’s fueled by admiration, and that’s to say I’m proud of you! Congrats on such a huge accomplishment! In my humble opinion you have achieved the level of ‘Bad Assery’ so fast and your future screams $even Figures in no time!

Loved the marble design but I also loved the original coat! I'm going to try this for my kitchen. Thanks for suggesting a practice table
You are not faux, you ARE artists. I'd like white & silver. Be kind to each other. Stay safe. Love to all
This guy is awesome. I love how he keeps telling us to have fun doing the prep work. He has such good energy. Only 8 easy steps! C'mon guys, we've GOT THIS!

This is by far one of the best Stonecoat videos I've seen. I was not planning to use it on my kitchen counters, because the wife was afraid she'd put a hot pan on it and ruin it. Thanks for letting me know it's resistant to heat.
We're so glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching our videos. Feedback like yours helps us to continue to make great content! - Lauren
What an awesome video. You answered a lot of my questions! I have bought your countertop kit in ocean blue, but was nervous starting the project. I’m a little bit more confident, now I just need to take the plunge. I’m leaving my sink in place and am glad I can as you answered that question for me right off the bat in this video. Also, you answered another question about clean up of buckets too! Again, great video.
How did it turn out?
What is so amazing about this project isn't the finished product, it is the dedication, care, knowledge, and experience of the people doing the work.
I remember when hgtv had shows like this. They need to put you on tv
I work with resin and decided to expand my knowledge and I have to say this is the most educational and direct video I’ve ever watched in this field 👍🏽🤩
Great to hear! Thank you kindly, we would love to see your work Erica🙌
This right here is what I have been looking for.
Taking the old and making it look new without the high cost... thank you so much!!!
This is fantastic! I like the pattern without the marble effect. The pro tips are essential, too. I would like a much simpler pattern, almost one solid color. I watched every minute of this and was fascinated. We hope to have this done by a friend who has done at least 2 countertops of his own. I applaud this craftsman; he does a very beautiful, careful and thorough job!
Here's a PRO TIP, don't take a drink every time you hear him say "pro tip". You will run out of alcohol. lmao
I did not search for this video. But I still watched.
Gorgeous!! I'm not a pro, best tip I saw was painter's tape around seams before adding silicone. Love the marble spray. I might try this, I have a small project in mind.
The level of professionalism!! Thorough, clear, entertaining, top notch videography. Great work!
Currently on step five, just waiting to scrape the drips. I’m happy with how the pour went. I’ve learned a lot up until this point. Hopefully this will be helpful to anyone who wants to recreate this project. First, the kit doesn’t have enough epoxy to color AND clear coat. You’ll have to double your epoxy order to do a “dirty pour”. I ordered the advertised kit but needed to order another 2 gal of epoxy so I can clear coat later. It’s obvious now, but not when I ordered. Marble spray is sold separately. Spray painting the rock face edge is key, the epoxy is thin enough on the sides that without some base coloration, it’d look pale. I’ll comment again if I have anything else worth sharing. If not, no news is good news. Satisfied with the product, looking forward to the next few steps.
Like it with a marble . you guys rock.
@The Eichers Mini Farm you need to take Roblox away from your kids unless you’re fine with being exposed to absolute scum of the earth people.
how did it turn out???
I love the idea of practicing on furniture from thrift store before doing it on your counters. If it turns out great the first try them you can use the furniture but if it doesn't then you learned something and aren't out much.
This looks phenomenal, and makes me think I might be able to do this myself. Love your videos! I look forward to trying the products.
Did you try it?
@@vickiu2923 not yet! I ordered the epoxy but am working on smaller projects and building my way up to do my counters. Going to practice on a coffee table next.
I also found a CZcams video where someone was warning people to use respirators and PPE
@@vickiu2923 yeah, respirator, long sleeves and gloves. Epoxy is toxic before it's cured so you should keep it off your skin or wash it off asap of it gets on there, and even though you should be ok on a well ventilated area, a respirator is a good idea. Especially if you're sanding, don't want to breathe in any of that dust. Can't say I'm always the best at using these things when doing smaller projects like jewelry or coasters, but for bigger projects, I think they're definitely needed.
Love the after affect… Would love to do this to my kitchen countertops, not sure I could do this myself, but definitely love the look. Great job!👍
I did my kitchen, my laundry, and my three bathrooms! My dad and my nephew did help. If you follow the training guidance you will do well. Promise!!!
His entire self throughout this video is so upbeat and clear! I'm definitely getting it this weekend!
I was hooked for the entire 36 minutes. Amazing transformation. Great video!
I was skeptical about the marble spray but after seeing it in its finished state WOW! Mike why did I ever doubt your ability, your a true artisan.
This is like the Bob Ross art of cabinetry!

I loved all the surface colors/looks before and after the marbling; they are versatile and beautiful!
Wow thank you for your kind words my friend! What look would you like to see next Patty?

You are very welcome!
The high gloss smooth finishes have a clean feel to them that I love, especially in a kitchen.
Next up I would love to see a 3D epoxy counter top of some sort, eg; nature themed version.
I would LOVE to see you come up with a ROSE GOLD marbling spray.
i was thinking copper and bronze as well.
I was thinking a shimmer blue

I absolutely loved watching this. Thank you for the calmly and enthusiastically presented information. I have no experience with this but I am going to go to a thrift store and practice with a table until I'm ready to do my kitchen counters. With marble spray included. :)
I love the island Stone top. The way you textured the outer edge was simply beautiful.
The marble spray is like adult silly string!!! LOL!!😂
it probably is, does it matter? It's going to be embedded in epoxy, so you have to embrace the theory behind this...
@Supa Trending Daily The marble spray is so thin, it doesn’t affect the finish. We actually went over the surface with 220 grit sandpaper after spraying the webbing to soften the color. Later we sprayed it and simply coated the clear after-no imperfections caused by the spray.
I was so amused by it too 🤯
We have several properties we need to update and this is EXACTLY what I was looking for! Forget those paid courses. This video is all you need! And that's a pro tip!
Thank you for adding the heat and hammer part showing the durability of this !! That helped so much on my decision to use epoxy.
I liked it BOTH ways. I really liked the look before the Marble spray, but loved the look after as well. Great job!
Wow thank you so much for your feedback my friend. Have you had a chance to use Stone Coat Epoxy?

The tip on picking up a cheap little table to practice on might be the best one in the video. Beautiful work. Deciding on which way to go with that would keep me awake for night.

I appreciate the explanation of every step so much!, it made me try to do this project, ONE IMPORTANT THING I would like to add for the benefit of DIYers that cannot get their epoxy brand (which was my case, I live in Canada and their products were not available at the time I did my counters)
Not all epoxies have the same curing time, their brand gives enough time for you to spread it without rushing but if you get a different epoxy check the label, some start hardening around 20 minutes after it is mixed
You might not have much time to spread it and to clean the drips underneath the edges
I really would love to have this done on my countertops in kitchen and bathroom, I’m disabled so I’m not able to do it myself. Loved the black spray on top, it’s absolutely perfect.
I don't own a house, tools, or epoxy but I have followed this channel for years. I loved how light the counters looked before marbling. I love your artwork ❤
