Every setting has a volume just touch the volume control at the top of the screen. L have same radio also this is a good video.

How did you connect the rear camera to this head unit? Did you use a trigger wire to trigger the head unit to switch to the rear camera?
The camera comes with a video cable that you run from the camera to the stereo. The cable also was an integrated lead that you use for the trigger wire.

Alrighty. My turn. I got the "updated" version with the face buttons. First one didn't work right out of the box. The touch screen would just glitch out and do whatever functions it wanted. I ordered a replacement, got 2 weeks of proper function before it started doing the same thing again. It's been returned in favor of an atoto f7 xe

Can you list the steering wheel adapter you bought ? Would it work for a VW Jetta?
This is the one I used. It works with any car. You just stick it where ever it fits. It only connects to the stereo and not the car.

I think it is just right. I needed bigger text than I had on the single din stereo. It is so much easier to read, but not too big. I really like that I can adjust the angle of the screen too. I installed a fixed screen stereo in my other vehicle and I get bad glare at certain angles. With this stereo I can aim the screen to eliminate most of the glare.
How did you do the phone link for the mirror image
you go into settings and change it from car play to mirror. The two options are car play or mirror so you can only do one or the other.
It looks like it is not as responsive. Is this the case? Is it very laggy?
The one thing I have noticed as I have used it more is that when you start out, it automatically gives you a few seconds of your front camera, then switches to whatever else it is set to. I like it because I am usually pulling out of some space and need to see if I am clearing objects in front. Kinda nice.
Where does the Steering Wheel Control (1) and Steering Wheels Control (2) go?
You connect them to your car swc wires on the harness or an aftermarket unit like I did

Yeah. I connected both the camera power and trigger wire to my reverse light hot wire. When the your reverse lights come on it powers the camera and triggers the stereo

I have the same radio. I have a question about the front camera. I connected the video, and used the FCCD wire to send 12v to the cam. However when I touch the FCam, it turns on, but it also cuts out audio, and can't get it to come back on. Yours seems to work as intended.
Did I miss something?
I watched again and you didn't talk about the FCCD, did you not have one? I think it was pink and gray.

You will notice in the video the two cameras are wired differently. For the rear camera the wire to the stereo is a trigger wire. The rear camera gets its power from the back up light circuit. For the front camera, the FCCD wire supplies the power. Hope that helps.
@@thehomerepairguy Yeah I figured that, but once I click on front camera it will not go away. Frustrating. So I guess the 12 is constant on the FCCD wire. Other than that bugaboo, I am loving the radio.

Not sure. Is your battery connected? Do the other lights on the dashboard light up? Once you connect power and key to 12v and ground it should work. The key wire connects to any power wire that is switched on with the key. It is just a signal wire to tell the unit to turn on. The power to the unit comes through the main 12v conductor.
How do you use screen mirroring for videos/movies
In the menus you can choose either carplay or mirroring.
Does apple car play just automatically come up when you plug phone in ?
no. It puts a green banner across the top and then the icon for it turns green to show you can select it.

I already had the adapter since I was replacing an aftermarket stereo. I just had to cut it off the old stereo and hook it up to this one.
how can u change the image of the car when its booting up?
There is no way to change that
I have a 1989 bronco 2 that I’m putting a screen in kinda worried my hand gonna hit the screen when I’m going in to drive
The screen slides up and down and tilts side to side so you might be able to adjust it to be out of the way

How did you do the phone link for iPhone carplay
In the menus you select either phone link or apple car play. You have to choose one or the other. Then, when you plug in the phone, you choose the icon for the phone and it does what you selected.
HEY BUD DOES THIS UNIT HAVE XM RADIO
no, but you can use the xm radio app in apple car play. That is how I listen to it.
How is it holding up?
It is doing fine. I learned that it automatically puts the front camera on a for a few seconds when you start out which is really nice because I normally am maneuvering and need to see any obstacles. So far, super happy with it.
Does this fit in a 91 Ford f350 7.5?
I think it is similar to a 92 so it should fit

I haven't done it, but I believe so. It says this in the item description "Bluetooth car stereo support USB/SD/AUX-in/RCA port for various audio/video format playback".

I want to say hi and his video is OK I guess I’m only saying that because I think you should have directed it towards people that know close to nothing about showing a car stereo. I on the other hand I Šmon company through 35 years doing this type work and more so for me, it was kind of boring
