This "easiest trail" is definitely not an easy one. You're lucky you were able to witness the sea of clouds. When we went there it was raining and the wind was kinda intense. Up to now it's still my record breaking 58,500+ steps. Natives say that when the gods are disturbed by groups on the campsite, they make the weather a bit horrible for Trekkers. But if the campers are behaved, you get a majestic view just like that. 🙂

I remember when I went there, I celebrated my 18th birthday. I refused to have a grand debut and did hike instead. I can say, it was the best gift I have given to myself. Fresh air, nice people, amazing view, and the sunrise and shooting stars that took my breath away. It was truly a majestic and surreal experience that i will never forget.
We saw your team in the homestay but me and my friend felt awkward to approach you for the picture because we seen that your tired from your travel. Kudos to your group who conquered pulag.

I've been there and the experience was great..even the so called easiest trail Ambangeg will make your heart palpitate a lot..but as you reach the green scenery and the breath taking sea of clouds view beneath your feet, as much as you wanted to shout out loud for conquering it, you'll realized how speechless you'll become. Mt.Pulag is amazing.

I did it in December of 2017 also in a 48 hr time frame.. from an 18 hr flight to manila the day before the trek. It was drizzling wet and slippery when I did the hike. My local guide was a gem.
