  • Here I am showing the process we go through to make the round soaps and felt them. I have had many requests for this so there it is!
    Also, I am using some new music today! My friend allowed me to use his music and if you like what you hear, I will give you a few links to find him! Make sure to check out his video! It was filmed here, in the Magdalen Islands, and many of my friends are part of this festive clip!

    I love your videos, Ariane- I've learned so much from you, including how to felt soap from your first video on the subject. I'm curious why you shred the soap before you felt it? I've just felted bars- I found it to be a great way to use soap that isn't pretty but otherwise has nothing wrong with it.

    If i wanted to put designs into my soap would I need to soak the soap in hot water a second time after felting the design in? i've made normal felted soap quite a few times but have been wanting to use a cookie cutter to put some designs on the soap. most of the videos i've seen never show them actually soaking it a second time so i'm a little confused as to the exact process for getting cute designs in my soap.

      @AllySenterfitt Před 9 lety +1

      Sarah Byington I have used my food processor to shred fully cured soap before without any ill effects. What I do is wash in dishwasher and use white vinegar in the main cup as well as the rinse cup that automatically. If I feel it's not clean enough I was once more with the same amount or more of vinegar. No soapy taste or residue after that.
