This circuit uses a simple capacitor charging/discharging method for the base pin of each output transistor.

I did the same thing using small 6 electrolitic caps which connected as parallel to base pin of driver transistor and ground path. But non adjustable for tail lighting effect.

You have to make this yourself as the circuit diagram and testing has given in my video, called a DIY project.

This is a DIY project designed by me which has tested on a dot board in this video. You can design and make your own PCB using a suitable software.
What mounting LED you use?
I have used 12V LEDs. Alternatively you can use 5mm or 3mm LED segments made by connecting such four LEDs and a resistor (33 to 100 ohms) in series.

Yes, you can.
Replace each 12V LED by four 5mm LEDs and 33 ohms resistor which connected in series.

CD 4017 ic eken out wenne ධන භ්‍රබවයන් නේ ද
CD4017 IC එකෙන් High ඒ කියන්නෙ (+) Pulses තමයි එන්නෙ, ඒවා BD139 වගේ NPN Transistors වල Base pin වලට දුන්නම Saturate වෙලා අදාල Bulbs පත්තුවෙනවා. Capacitor එකකින් Base pin Ground කරල තියෙන හින්දා Pulse එක නැතිවුණාම එකපාර බල්බ් නිවෙන්නෙ නැතුව capacitor එක discharge වෙන විදියට බල්බ් Dim වෙලා Tail එකක් වගේ පේනවා.

Normal 3V LED දානවනම් එකම පාට හතරකුයි තව 33 ohms විතර Resistor එකකුයි Series කරන්න.

Nice circuit using 3 LED's per light. I used a PWM module in mine to be able to dim certain LED's in order to get the tail. Here's mine. czcams.com/video/gmc_PM1_iro/video.html

@@hobbyelectroniccircuits7391 Thanks. It took me 2 1/2 years to make the software, PCB Maker, by NewRAD. And then about 35 minutes to mill the board with my CNC machine. But I did it for about $2. PCB Way wanted to charge me $48 for a board that big, and take 3 to 7 days. To do it in 35 minutes for $2, and with the added benefit of not having to use their software, or upload Gerber files, or use their website. To avoid all of that mess is priceless.
