The way you guys shoot your videos is by far the best out there. Get nauseous watching amateur battle reports carry around their phone camera swinging it in all directions. Instead of that, you guys have a beautiful clear and steady focus! Awesome reports.
Agreed! The sound is great too. Most other battle report commentary is hard to hear

Really like the way you guys do your batreps, my only criticism is to standardize the dice that one person is using. It allows viewers to quickly discern what rolls are. For example, getting three different special icons and trying to make out what another yellow die is can be very difficult. My advice is to get your own standardized Conquest Creations dice and make the base color of them a bit darker to contrast with the rolling trays. Otherwise great job!
Nice batrep but Army of Thror and Khazad Dum are a red alliance, not a yellow alliance
Yeah, actually I opened up the book to Check that, bc I've always wanted a yellow dwarf alliance

Lore wise it really should be a yellow or green alliance due to the Battle of Azanulbizar as long a Thor or any other named Khazad Dum Dwarves are in the list.

Lovely terrain and great batfep. Totally should be a yellow alliance option to allow the dwarf clans to combine for the long war with the orcs.

year behind everyone else but just want to mention im pretty sure that alliance is red. but even if its yellow im a little surprised at the grim hammer choice. i get adding thrain and dwalin, super good heroes and the dwarf keyword abilities are great synergy. but i figure you'd be better with erebor dwarfs with spears to go behind your khazads for the extra attacks. running grims you are still one dice 2-handers, without dwarf army bonus, without support. seems the worst of both worlds warrior-wise
With the Thror and Khazad alliance, you lose both army bonuses right? What was your thinking in combining the two forces?
That is correct. My thinking was that niether army bonus makes a huge difference to each army so by loosing it I am not loosing much and I was able to get a lot of synergy from the shield bearer and Thrain having abilities that impact all dwarves

I gotta ask (also just gonna comment twice on two different accounts, engagement baby) were you guys taking will off the Castellans for every combat they were in? cause they do also have the will of evil special rule. still bloody tempted to run em someday soon tho, sick models

Can a unit thats already charging, be charged by a third unit?
For example, evil has priority and has an orc charge a dwarf. When good moves, can a second dwarf charge that orc? I can't find the answer anywhere, probably because I'm not sure how to word the question well enough for google.

Only one pretty serious misstep that I noticed in this batrep: Khazad Dum and Thror are Impossible Allies, not yellow. The dwarf keyword synergies would still work, I believe, but your heroic actions and banner rerolls would be very limited, not to mention you have to keep track of two separate breaking points, and either one counts towards your whole army breaking. Definitely interesting to see those synergies at work though.

man... i baught a bunch of castaldin of Dol Guldur and then when they redone all the armies they put them in the one army i have no troops for. what a waste XD

What profile is that witch king?
Its the Dark Power of Dol Guldur version. It represents the Witch King and the other Nazgul as they are in the Hobbit films
Necromancerless Dark Powers feels weird
Its very strong! The Castellans don't need the magical support and wiht only one Nazgul of Dol Guldur there isn't a lot of synergy to be gotten by taking the Necromancer in this specific list
