If you think he's joking about keeping your feet spread apart and leaning into the turns, look up my injury that I got from NOT doing these practices. It is a grade 3 acromioclavicular separation. Basically, I landed so hard on the sidewalk on my right shoulder that my arm fell off, look it up, it's gross and painful.

I'm on the heavier side, so I just bought a Cruiser that handles up to 350+ lb. riders. Even got some accessories. Now for a good grocery backpack, because I know I'll be using mine for local grocery runs.
