6:53 Jedi cannot teleport, but Merrin can. We see her in-game teleporting two nightbrother guards with her. That is a canonically-accurate method of fast-travel between meditation points that you have visited at least once before. Players will still need to correctly navigate the maze sections at least once.
Basically saying you canât teleport to an area you have never explored or seen before. I think if you could fast travel though then the Haxion Brood storyline wouldnât be able to take place, unless it was a cutscene showing you be captured

I actually think a sequel should have Merrin the central character, be fun building her skill tree, raise dead, teleport, quicksand, remote torture ...
If anything, those should be something like flashbacks because Merrinâs only at Dathomir and her being at Dathomir only is kind of boring. So Merrin out of Dathomir and being able to travel will be cool with the skill tree factor and abilities.

I would love Vader to be a constant threat in the second game constantly perusing Cal. I also think that more bounty hunters (hired by Vader) could be implemented. Cere at the beginning of the story could sacrifice herself to save Cal and the others from Vader. Cal could seek out previous Jedi/Sith temples to discover more force powers to help him against Vader. His bond with Merrin could also be utilised more.
I'll do you one better. Vader is constantly finding Cal and hunting him Resident Evil style. We've already seen that he has Jason Voorhees powers

For me I wanted more of a living world, the opening was great with all the npcs, All the other planets felt barren and lifeless.

I think Cal and Merrin getting together is a must for the second game, and I also do not see the writers not exploring that regardless. One interesting storyline that could be explored with Cal and Merrin though would be the potential for them having kids (Iâm not 100% on how breeding works between humans, near humans, etc. but according to Wookieepedia it is possible), so that could explain why Cal was not in any of the movies because he may have decided to step away from the order to raise their kids, and it could also open up the potential for some additional characters (their children) to introduce if they ended up making an episode 10-12 or if they make any new shows/movies in between episode 6 and 7 (which in my eyes would be why Disney would want Cal and Merrin to get together). Plus the force potential for their kid could be pretty high since theyâd have pretty diverse and unique training

It's not that I don't like that Merrin is a part of the main crew, but couldn't Merrin have become the new queen of Dathomire and repopulate, or does she need Mother Talzin to give her stamp of approval?
I don't know enough about Dathomirian culture to make that call, but why didn't they explain that?
I also think if we were going to have so many crew members, she could've followed Cal around at the end. Not to replace BD, but just to have another buddy.

I think this would be a good idea for the sequel, when you see stormtroopers attacking some natural fauna, if you help them you can form a temporary alliance with them, so while your fighting a huge rancor or something in the sequel that the stormtroopers were attacking, they will leave you alone until that creature is dead, then they will attack you. UNLESS there is a purge trooper there with them
This isnât really any kind of secret or detail but i find it very interesting; you can use the kick ability (evade + attack) to deflect blaster bolts not back at the enemy but off into the abyss

Wow you read my mind. Games like this and god of war are great and all but it just feels lonely sometimes. The Mantis is the only happy place. Everywhere else is just depressing
I thought the game was going to be like that. The first 15 minutes on Bracca felt like it was going to be a living, open world game. Overall the game was great but the potential is there to be bigger and better
more combat cut scenes, love seeing two lightsabers clash in a beautiful cut scene duel, also cool cutscene kills for bosses, aaannd most of all it would be great if they made a dismemberment mode on off option, I played using a dismemberment mod and it made the entire feel of wielding a lightsaber sooo much better and felt more like what an actual lightsaber is

A prequel would be interesting but I donât know if itâs the right thing to do
I feel like the next game could start with Cal finding a leftover holocron from Jaro Tapal, and learning knew lessons, even developing new force powers himself, like electric judgement. Maybe he goes around finding holocrons that the Jedi Masters left, with one of them leading him on the main story. And it could end with Cal maybe finding a balance between the power of the light and dark or something too.

One of my favorite things about fallen order that was also down in the force unleashed. Cal went to places and then he went back and saw how you affected those places. Thatâs why force unleashed two didnât feel as fun but rushed . because you only got to go to places once.

You should be able to choose whether to use Merrin or Cal for certain missions depending on their qualities and abilities. If it's an imp occupied place you probably choose Merrin so Cal don't get recognised. If your looking for a mechanical part you probably choose Cal because Merrin don't know much about technology because before she met Cal and co. She had never seen any technology. Also Cal probably knows tech better cuz he was a scrapper.

I'd love a storyline about Cal traveling and training his own aprentice, much the same way as GoW. However, I have no idea how they could do that without it being TOO similar to GoW. It would also steal much of the focus from other side characters, so it would be a tricky balancing act.
I think itâd be cool to be able to visit Lateron because I remember during my play through Greez and Cal talk about I and I think itâd be fun to have more of a backstory for Greez

Cal seems incorruptible to me. Donât think he would ever fall to the dark side, and I think his potential romance with Merrin will keep him from turning. Love saved Satin in KOTOR. Why couldnât it prevent him from ever falling to the dark side?
I think you mean Bastila in KOTOR, Satine lived about 300 years after Revan and Bastila, but the point stands. Though, one could also argue that love could easily cause you to fall to the dark side. I mean, look at Anakin.
If you think about it, every Jedi that was turned to the Dark Side was saved due to love: Anakin, Luke, Satin, Kanan, Ezra, Qui-Gon, Yuthura Ban, Ventress, Vos, etc.
Meanwhile, those Jedi that never had an emotional connection to anyone never returned from the Dark Side: A'sharad Hett, Sora Bulq, Dooku, Depa Billaba, Grand Inquisitor, etc

Doing my third playthrough, one thing I love is the Metroidvania style of progress. I hope they keep that. It adds to the style of the game. Also, just an idea but what about making Starkiller canon and having him as the main villain for the next one? It would be pretty interesting.

What I want most out of a sequel is a true open world. I want to come across settlements with people I can interact with I want these places to feel truly alive.

I feel like this game is strong without it. I know everyone wants every game to be be open world, but I very much enjoy metroidvania games. That was one of the reasons I got this game. There arenât that many that are this and high quality.
I think an interesting story line could be that Merrin is already pregnant with his child, and he is trying to protect or get back to her, like they got seperated because he went on a mission or something or maybe she was captured. Could help bring in him leaning a bit more dark as he fears losing her and his child and is angry about being kept away.

I think a cool side quest thing could be merrin teaching cal basic magick, and cal teaching Merrin some jedi tricks, or lightsaber wielding. She seemed interested enough in the first game during cals convo with her so it could be a fun dynamic
I just hope the jumps come with more forward momentum. The wall runs always feel unrealistic when you just jump practically straight up, then somehow have enough momentum to speed up as you start wall running. I get that Jedi are supposed to be able to do impossible stuff, but they're also supposed to look cool while doing it, right?

So I put off playing this game until recently when it came to game pass. I just finished it last night and in that chunk I had left, was when you start to see more of Merrin on Dathomir when you go back to the temple. I put myself into the shoes of every character I play in games, and I may or may not be severely attracted to Merrin nowđ
I think the sequel can have some stealth missions too, especially when he's infiltrating Imperial buildings. They can include cities with normal people so that the game feels more lively. Also, I need side missions with some of the cameos in the next game. Cal can also date Merrin and learn teleportation and Magick.

DEFINITELY MORE BOSS FIGHTS IN THE SECOND GAME
Personally, I read somewhere that the Empire actually salvaged the remains of Grievousâs mechanical parts and rebuilt it into a repurposed droid. It would be badass to see Merrin confront the (almost) literal embodiment of her trauma, even if itâs not Grievous himself and just a droid. I hear rumors that Magnaguards are an enemy in the sequel so it wouldnât be too much of a stretch if thatâs the case to make a Grievous droid as a boss fight.
I was totally with you on the Merrin thing until you went to killing her off and turning Cal into half man half machine. lol Seriously though, I want more with Nightsister Merrin.

One thing I think would be cool for a Fallen Order sequel would be for Cal to run into either some retired clone troopers (which could finally answer the question of what happened to Cody after the Clone Wars) or for him to go to an abandoned planet of some kind and find it populated by Battle Droids that are still online.
Itâd be interesting to see another padawan and an order 66 surviver react to seeing either of these factions still alive since so far, the only Jedi to interact with clones after Order 66 are Kanan and Ashoka, and having B2s or Commando Droids in the game would make for a better mini boss fight than just using the Empireâs security bots several times
Something i would really love to see is like a stance or combat style selection so you can chose a more defensive stance or fight style or offensive/ aggressive just to make the moves and attacks be things we prefer such as backhand wielding and such

No one died, but I definitely got Max Payne (crying baby blood trail) vibes when Cal is seeing that vision of what could happen if he started training younglings again. That and when he touches Trilla's lightsaber and sees her get tortured and the crying youngling.

So i would imagine a mission in my ideal fallen order something like this.
The mantis lands on a planet, in a city.
Cal gets 3 objectives. A) Meet with merin at the market, where she wants to gather some materials for her magic stuff. B) help out greez gathering parts for an upgrade to the mantis. C) speak to an informant.
A) and B) are optional but will give you advantages later on. You can choose the order in which you wanna tackle these objectives.
So lets assume you start with A)
Cal meets Merin, she's already bought a lot of stuff and is pretty hyped how easily accessible these things are when you can just buy them at shops. The two go to get a last thing, on the way there they talk. A little flirty (let's face it, that's mostly the developers goal for the two of them), but in a cute way and not to direct. Less like they plan it and more like just a natural connection/chemistry. Just as we reach the store, we see someone running off, carrying what appears to be the thing we were searching for, stolen from the shop. Cal and Merin follow the thief and after a short but fast paced chase corner him. But the thief gets help from his gang, which results in a not to challenging melee fight. After Merin and Cal won, they head back to the shop, retrieving the items that were stolen and paying for what they needed. They split up, Merin goes back to the Mantis, Cal can now decide which objective to follow next. We do B) now, so we head to the scrap yard, where we find Greez in a heated argument with the scrap merchant. The part we need for the Mantis is somewhere behind the piles of scrapmetal, old ships, etc. The seller says he doesn't have the time to go looking for it, as he can't reach it without moving the piles, which would take days. So Cal offers to help looking for it. The seller doesn't believe he will be able to find it, but agrees, at Cals on risk. Cal searching for the part turns into a parcour mission as he tries to navigate deeper and deeper through the massive scrap yard. On the way we also get to fight some creatures that get in our way and eventually a bigger, tougher one, as a mini boss. Aswell as throughout the entire game their are hidden chests with outfits, lightsaber parts etc. We find the part, unlock a shortcut and deliver it to greez.
Now we want to do the last objective, C)
We go to meet with an informant. We reach his house, get the information we needed, but when we get out we realize someone reported us to the authorities. There are a lot more stormtroopers now and they attack basically on sight. Cal doesn't want to fight, because the risk of endangering the civilians around us is to high. This is were we get to now the new stealth system. We navigate silently through the map, avoiding every fight possible, killing of storm troopers from a distance with force attacks (throwing things and stuff like that) and knocking them out at close distance, without activating our lightsaber as it would draw too much attention. We reach the ship, but the mantis is locked in the hangar, so we can access the ship but can't leave with it. So while Cere is opening the door we have to hold oit and defend the ship from attacking stormtroopers and as the finale of this mission, an at-st. Cere opens the hangar doors, cere an cal get back on the ship and we leave the planet.

Also i had some ideas for a story. It starts a few months (really just a few, long breaks can... Alienate us from the character sometimes.) after the first part. The crew is hiding on some planet in the outer rim, they are just trying to survive reall, as they don't have much of a goal anymore since cal decided to destroy the holocron. Probably working normal jobs or something.
Cere gets contacted by an old jedi friend, who escaped the jedi temple during order 66 with a youngling (probably an infant). Cere considered the friend dead, so is thrilled to hear this jedi and the youngling are both alive. Unfortunately, they are on the run from the Inquisitors and the connection breaks down before we find out were they are. In order to find them, our group decides to retrace their steps from the jedi temple on. So they head to corouscant. There we get some side missions, something like what I've discribed earlier. The main mission is to infiltrate the temple. Im not quite sure, what the jedi temples state is in current canon, but i guess it's fair to say it's heavily guarded. As we sneak and/or fight our way in cal is repeatedly overwhelmed by flashbacks of the horrible things that happened there during order 66. At some point while hes weakened from one of the flashbacks cal gets ambushed and is forced to escape. We manage to escape the planet, but on the way off the mantis is caught by the imperial blockade around the planet. We get imprisoned on one of the star destroyers in the blockade. Cal escapes and fights his way through the ship. He menages to free the rest of the crew and they escape. Our group tries to plan their next step. They decide to go to another planet with an old jedi shrine or something, as there is an old legend about an artifact, that helps the wearer to defend against dark influences. I could imagine this planet to be mountainous (i mean, the entire first game is mountains, but this time probably something with more actual mountain feeling, with more snow, beautiful views, mountain tops, epic climbing scenes, maybe we could get some kind of snow outfit...). We land at a village. We need someone to show us the way. There are multiple villagers (probably not more than three) that could take us, but they all want us to do something for them first (retrieve or deliver an item, slay a creature, something of that nature). We can do multiple of the missions, but we have to decide on one to show us the way, as this will influence which way we take. With our guide we head out, the ways are different, the first one being a long way through the mountains on small paths between and around them. We eventually have to go back, because the night and weather stop us from reaching our goal, one is through a cave, has less challenging climbing, but more intense fights, one is climbing the outside of the mountain, with less fights and more climbing. Either way, just before we reach the shrine we are searching for our guide dies (either in a fight or from falling off a cliff). Cal reaches the temple, but cannot open it, so he decides to rest for the night. Nearly frozen to death he wakes up at night and is plagued by visions. We fight a dark side Version of cal, who makes him responsible for the guides death and tells him he will never find the jedi on time. Cal menages to win, but breaks down. When we wake up the next morning, the shrine is opened. Cal takes the artifact and returns to the mantis. We are now prepared to return to corouscant, but as the mantis wouldn't make it through the blockade again we need to take a civilian ship. We head to a space port, where we find a ship that can take us to corouscant. We successfully make it there, but when we land cal is identified in a border check so we need to escape. Through a lucky coincidence (or the will of the force) we find a group that helps people that are at danger for their politics, relations to the jedi, etc. to escape fro corouscant. They help us reinfiltrate the temple. This time we make it through the temple, amd finally reach the hidden pathway the jedi we are searching used to escape. Cal has a strong flashback of what the jedi experienced during order 66. This flashback has us playing the jedi, fighting of the 501st and finally escaping with the youngling. Cal now knows where they were going, so escapes the planet with the help of his new allies and meets with the rest of the crew. Cal tells them that the jedi planned to hide at a friend's place, so we go there to find out where they are.
This now is the mission i describe in my original comment.
Afterwards we do now know where the jedi and youngling are. We find them, but are to late to save the jedi, who is killed by an Inquisitor. We do save the youngling tho, so we escape with the kid. The group decides they won't be save as long as the Inquisitor is hunting them and is this close. So they set up a trap, which results in a fight in which cal kills this Inquisitor. Cal decides to train the youngling as his padawan, as it's to late to keep this one off of the empires radar either way.

@@lennymosca9099 - It's not a spoiler for an actress to say what she'd like to happen, especially since we don't know what the sequel's story will be and I doubt the cast does at this point, either. Plus, they'd probably advertise the romance in the trailers, anyway. The chemistry in the first game is already pretty palpable (or Palpatine-able).

Wonder Woman had a girlfriend on Themyscira before she met and fell in love with Steve Trevor, for example. Just because someone dates a person of one gender doesn't mean they're not attracted to any other. Either way, it's up to the writers and I wouldn't rule it out just because some people involved have joked that they ship a pair.
I like this Video! The Side Quests are very important, the double lightsaber and more forcepowers would be good to. More planets would be wonderful! But the BEST is the love between Cal and Marrin.
I like the idea of continuing with more of the story of the Zeffo. And considering that Kujet became quite evil, you could have a villainous Zeffo as the main bad guy. If they make a trilogy of games around Cal, could have a super strong Zeffo appear late in game 2 and be the primary enemy of the final part.

I'd like a few more lightsaber customization options. Like curved hilt lightsabers like count dooku(it would make an s hilt double bladed lightsaber). Cross guards would be cool, Ezra's blaster hilt would be good, and the function to make the blade longer or shorter would be good. Also we should get the option to be able to find lightsaber crystals around the planets which would effect the lightsaber.

I think Soresu would be more along the lines of better blocking stamina, possibly parrying all incoming blaster fire. Unless it's an endgame ability, parrying all incoming attacks seems a bit broken. But, an incredible idea nonetheless.

In the second game there needs to be a split skill tree (Like in Dante's Inferno) allowing players to choose light or dark side abilities and allow light or dark decisions. For example you link up with Saw in 2 and he wants to launch a resistance and Cal can influence the tactics he uses. Dark side choice is more direct and simple. It involves bombing public places and assassinations while light choice is more roundabout. It involves raiding supply lines and blackmailing Imperial Officials

I like the idea of Cal & Merrin getting together. Both can definitely learn from each other and it would be cool if both characters develop new abilities. Also, I wouldnât downright kill off Merrin but maybe something happens to her that makes Cal tap into the dark side of the Force. Would be cool to see that play out

Make two stories like back in the days. Take one good path ending or a dark ending and start it before the last arc. I love the feeling of having a hard choice of keeping the good that might be slower or going dark for faster power in order to see how the ending turns up.
8:05 I protest this claim. There were way more jedi in the order than just the ones who weâve seen. Stands to reason that there are a lot more out there that are just better at hiding themselves.
Honestly I think fast travel wouldnât fit the story very well, but being able to place personal waypoints on the holomap to try and follow (similar to Borderlands 3). This would help when navigating a planet, while not taking away from the puzzle element.
