    i miss the M2's. the long trip 12 car trains with the food car was luxurious for its time. i took it when i was a little kid back in 2010 to NH.

    Why do they have to flash their ID when going into the tunnel

    • @kobyschechter8163
      @kobyschechter8163 Před 4 lety +4

      NYC SUBWAY PRODUCTION If people are working in the tunnel they could be killed. So the engineers have to blow the horn to let them know that they’re coming through.

    • @EastCoastTransit
      @EastCoastTransit Před 4 lety +2

      Well sometimes thay blow the horn even when not in tunnels

    • @bxmxchris
      @bxmxchris Před 4 lety +2

      Logan Roberts if u mean at stations, it’s cuz metro north has a safety guideline requiring all engineers to blow their horns when arriving or passing a station to alert the passengers that r near the gap to move back cuz the train is coming, cuz if they don’t sound their horn, then the passenger near the gap may be killed by the train. Also, it may be to alert passengers that their train has arrived
