    Railfanning for 8 Hours & 30 Mins from 7:59 A.M. - 4:29 P.M.
My first experience at Manitou will be a memorable one as for the small station, the quiet peaceful area & beautiful scenery is just part of it, I was also passing the time watching and interacting with the track workers who were removing & replacing the railroad crossing gates on the northbound platform. Really nice bunch, Even got ear plugs from them as a gift :)
There was also track work south of the station near Peekskill on Track 1 (Northbound Track). Because of this, Track 2 (Southbound Track) was used by all trains going in both directions North & South.
Even witness something I wasn't expecting while railfanning at Manitou; two rare things on Amtrak #233 as this train was led by P42DC #109 & trailing with the New York Central / Pullman Hickory Creek coaches.
It's also been a while since the last time I railfan on the weekends as railfan usually on the weekdays. Enjoy.

Heard not much trains from Grand Central stops here, only 2 trains a day and I see why by just looking how the station is, sucks tho cause its the only station closer to Bear Mountain State Park

It breaks my heart hearing the Metro North P32s and Shoreliners with E-Bells with them aging but I’m surprised Amtrak’s P32s Mechanicals bells still working

If you mean the Railroad Crossing Bells, I mention in the desc that track workers were replacing the Crossing on the left of me on the northbound platform. At the time at this point, they were calibrating the timing of the crossing bells. As the train departed, you can hear the crossing bells decrease then increase its speed.

Is Manitou the smallest "station" in the Metro-North system?

It's at least one of the smallest stations on Metro North.

Would probably give that title to either Breakneck Ridge or Appalachian Train

Manitou in the southwestern corner of Philipstown in Putnam County, New York. There's road called "Manitou Station Rd" just off "NY 9D" that leads straight to the station.
