    Shot between the hours of 1600 and 1930. This location is one of the very few places you legally can get up close to the track without some kind of fence in the way. Additionally, as the old station, which was closed in 1983, is situated between two grade crossings, horn action is a guarantee. Enjoy the assorted action =)

    I'm fascinated that they have 3rd rail out in the open like that with no gates up or anything

      Teach your kids to not trespass and play near the railroad and there won't be an issue with it.

    You have to catch 225 when it passes thru Wassaic village, which is one mile south of the station. The horn echo when it's clear and dark outside is absolutely insane....

    Yeah..that's a great spot 2 have train rails out in the open where anybody can get 2 them and walk up on it.(sarcastic voice)

      I guess that's because people who live in the area are not dumb enough to play or walk on them!

      Northeast Rail Productions - I saw it once at the Bethel Station. The sound bouncing off objects makes it a little scary. I love #226 though! And #205.

      About 18. You can count for yourself: web.mta.info/mnr/html/planning/schedules/pdf/HARLEM%20MF%20MAR%2018%202018.pdf Look at the Mt. Pleasant or Valhalla stations.

      the diesels travel north of southeast, which is the northern-most point of electrification.

    • @ss04to06
      @ss04to06 Před 3 lety +1

      @@CCscott No. The diesel trains to Wassaic made stops at White Plains and some stations in Northern Westchester. They also stopped at Brewster in Putnam Co.
