    What's admirable for Lin is, he endured so much shxx in the NBA & still pushes to be a better person. Lin can play, & it's for real, & his first slap on Kobe's face with the Linsanity game 38 pts & destroyed the Lakers was never a fluke. I've followed Lin long enough to see how effective has been when given playing time. Whenever Harden or the stars are out & he plays 30 mins+, he scores a lot & make others better. Hornets was smart in using him as 6th man & in end of games. He could've been a starting PG on most teams in the league. Lakers' was Kobe's team & no one can go above him, esp Lin who slapped his face.

      Yep, & people say the run was only 7 games or 2 weeks, when it really was 2 months. And it was also a lockout year. It could have definitely gone on longer if it wasn't for the injury. It was probably fate & for the better that Lin left NY. And he got many racist tweets by NY fans because of leaving, showing these fans' true colors. People also forget that Lin was just a rookie too that whole time. These days, Lin is dropping 35, 38 & 50-point etc games in Taiwan. Kobe saying "You left me with this sh*t?" was basically cuz Lin had been riding rent free in his mind for 2 years prior. People might say I could be disrespectful saying that about someone who has already died, but when you are disrespectful yourself to others who did nothing bad to you while you were alive, then I think that equalizes it already.

    Real talk, every team J-Lin was on, the vast majority of his black teammates were super jello of him. It's understandable, some asian kid comes in, being more popular than the vast majority of them and getting all the attention. Kobe was jealous of Jeremy and that's the truth. He definitely lost a lot of his asian fans seeing the way he treated Lin.

    • @dhruvsubramanian2068
      @dhruvsubramanian2068 Před 8 měsíci +3

      i can vouch as a asian, any respect i had for kobe as a kid went out the window at that moment. he knew lin was a Cali kid who grew up looking up to him. Lin won a chip, had some meaningful time on a good hornets team, and is a great player overseas. He is a great ambassador for basketball worldwide so it all worked out

    • @omcritzy
      @omcritzy Před 7 měsíci +2

      you can say melo and other teams, but kobe wasnt jelly of anyone, im a fan of both and kobe has a lot of respect for international players cuz he played over seas. Kobe was injured and bitter that he couldnt play for 1 year, his team was "tanking" something he rarely experienced, and the lakers team wasnt great built to win games to make playoffs. Plus this was him "on court" , millions of people never saw him off court. This feels opinionated which you can think of kobe/lin however you like. If lin played like chris paul or carried the lakers to playoffs, itd be a whole different story.
