The blah blah blah is because how else can they tell their public they got defeated ?
The British and western psyche is colonial, they feel they are entitled to set the world order, they were used to it. Boris Johnson said 'we cannot allow Putin to win, as it will end the 'rules based international order'.' The rest of the world recalls how Britain invaded Iraq using fabricated claims of WMDs. The British created Israel by ethnic cleansing of Palestinians and they aid and abet genocide in Gaza. So what is this 'rules based international order' that the west follows ?

Shapps is the man who repeatedly denied that he had used an pseudonym - 'Michael Green' - and threatened to sue those who suggested he had - until The Guardian revealed that he had had a second job under this name for a year after he was elected as an MP in 2005. The second job? That of 'multi-million dollar web marketeer" who boasted in a audio recording that he could make listeners 'a ton of cash before Christmas'.

It's almost humorous how foolish politicians are on the subject of Israel. Palestinians as as a group have never given any indication that their priority is peace and prosperity. Getting rid of Jews and Israel always emerges as the priority, no matter what Israel does. Israeli governments understand this and do what they have to do and they do it as humanely as they can under the circumstances. Sometimes there are no solutions to problems, only practical mitigation, and it's about time idiots stopped thinking that Palestinians would play nice if the Israelis spent all day feeding them chocolate. Peace is in the hands of the Palestinian people, nobody else's.
