If you use a Field Marshall order, I recommend you use shift + left click while setting the front line. Then the front lines of the generals don't get messed up, as they don't exist anymore

I love Mexico as well, in this way (more or less) as democratic country I have done "The Montezuma revenge" achievement :) You inspire me to try it now to see, what NSB has changed - I totally forgot about this encridible easy way to gain army and navy XP in Mexico :)

Yeah invading Cuba and Hispaniola is always a pain because they just spam divisions to no end and you can only naval invade/paradrop.
Giving weapons to the civil war in spain to boost the production of the country in order to have the engineering and technology to conquer the world reminds me of a specific historic incident

I don't play Hearts of Iron 4, but you actually make it entertaining to watch.
If you're a casual like me stick to watching it, I've been told it's a micro-nightmare.
haha honestly it just depends how you play and what your goal is. having in your mind you need to take over the world can make the game very dull at points. playing as a country just trying to survive and possibly thrive like Finland or Manchuria etc.. playing historical or not allows massive replay as the world goes random on non-historical but sometimes stays similar.
as for the micro stuff, honestly that's not true, what the issue is to most of us is that Paradox the makers of the game are infamous for making UI that looks daunting and hard to learn.
however if you just sincerely take a good two or three hours playing AFTER a good hour or two of youtube guides on basics. everything is explained when you hover the mouse over. it's really just learning the mechanics but I promise if a dummy like me can get this game pretty quick anyone can haha
hope my comment helps a bit as It really is a great experience to play solo or with friends.

Make the world white by playing as japan
Unite africa as abyssinia
Reform the ottoman empire as türkiye
Take all of oceania as new zealand
a lot of these are just world conquest whit major not that fun to do after the first time

I realize unfortunately how accurate this game is. The only way to make Mexico a superpower is basically to consolidate resources and basically do a haha funni reset on everything right off the bat. Fire everyone. Scrap everything. Rebuild the entirety of the country according to your own vision and seek to properly care for the citizens every step of the way. Once theres no corruption and the people are happy, you can get the most loyalty and begin funding your war machine to the max as long as you maintain your stable society with proper checks and balances

The problem with hearts iron 4 is the AI you can add whatever buffs to try to balance it out but at the end of the day AI making stupid decisions although you could use the event system to try to develop battle plan basically let say soviets get pushed certain point into Their territory you could have AI pull back to more defensible positions and slowly rebuilt Their Army Air Force and Navy because AI like to use naval invasions a lot and also try to get it to learn new tactics in the future after the war
Second why the AI does not have an endless pool of man it’s close enough to the point where Germany with much smaller population could literally lose tens of millions of people
Without suffering any consequences I think having systems where you need manpower to operate the factories both military and civilians as well to occupy enemy territory could help balance things out

Hi, Im new to HOI4, how do you download the focus tree for mexico?
Hear me out better idea, just make like two hundred divisions with one single guy, pop them out before they train and before you get any guns to give them, and then send the horde out and hope it works like you are Germany controlled by ISP
My focus tree doesn’t look the same , is this a DLC or a different version?

It’s still a good idea because if the way destroy the tracks delivery time increases but if it’s unarmored they would attack the train it’s self and destroy or loot the goods
They should add a focus where you can export tacos and get -10% consumer goods😏
