Hey, quick question. What if on "Services" it says vehicle not supported? Is there a way to add vehicles? I have a Mercedes-Benz ML320 and unfortunately I can't access it in some services for instance the WIN DOOR and such.

Good video! I have spent a lot of money on scanners and the worst experience I have had was unfortunately with an Autel scanner. It just stopped whilst underwarranty and the supplier and Autel made every attempt to avoid attending to it under warranty. I still have this new scanner which is useless. So I won't buy one of their products ever again. I have found many better companies to deal with that offer much better products. I only hope no one else has a similar experience with Autel as I did, because it was really bad.

What functions will this model scanner be able to perform that similar scanners under $500 cannot perform?
There's a lot of cars said special functions won't work on. Very limited. If you have a Mercedes forget about it. This tool hardly has any functionality for it...

I just bought an mk808bt but it doesn’t recognize my vin number. I have 2008 ford focus, with other testers worked, also it s impossible to add it manually

@@PDPPerformance before this unit, i used an older obd scanner, and didn’t had to add nothing manually, so if for 500$ this unit in not able to read a vin number of a common car and even manually tried to add and got error, i will returned right away
@@joxx2 If you are in the United States then you'll be better off with the versions made for the U.S. Autel is world wide and has a ton of different models specifically for each region. hope that helps (mx808 $500, ts608 $800, mx906ts $2100)

Hello, I need your help, I bought an MP808TS, I downloaded all the updates, registration with AUTEL done, but when I press "diagnostic" I do not have the brands of cars that should be posted, I don't know what to do anymore .. can you help me?
what brand of cars are you expecting to have on the scanner? I'm a Honda tech, but I work mainly on our New cars and Used cars so I have the MS906TS scanner and TS608 scanner. I'm well familiar on these scanners and I've been using them daily for almost a year (TS608) the MP808TS and MK808TS are not North American region, my Tool guy spoke with his Autel distributor and told him the warranty does not cover those particular scanners because they are not for the United States. they're mainly for Central and South America. for that reason I went with the MS906TS, even though the MP808TS does everything my MS906TS does and cost half the price. I'll probably buy one soon just to tinker with it at home since I have 2 dedicated for work.

That depends on your vehicle. If your vehicle supports that functionality, then yes, otherwise no scan-tool can write that/modify that in the vehicle's EPROM database, because the EPROM database does not contain that element.

depends on the vehicle and how intricate the immobilizer system is. newer German cars key fobs i have not had great success even with my expensive MS906TS. had to send it to the dealership, everything else is pretty much a go on.

If you buy it, you will get 1 year updates for free and the updates are continually each week. You can relearn keys but i think you will need the specific keynumer for the keys.

How does this work on Mercedes Benz vehicles?
Minimal but does reads codes with no issues and can reset services and can test some components like the AC. The rest is to check and play around.

The only thing the MK808TS is missing is Active Test and Special Function. The DS708 was an excellent tool and offered the best bang for the buck for those earlier years. It was slow though.
Yeah, I missed that unit but it crapped out on me.
Probaly becouse bluetooth is not as reliable as the old obd cord...
The MK808TS now has bi directional functions. With the new updates. I bought mine in 2019 and didn't have the update. It has several new functions in 2022
Hätte auch noch ein neues da zum Verkauf, wäre das MK808BT, das wäre die Bluetooth Version mit Dongle, Neu und OVP, bei Interesse könnt ihr gern schreiben!

Can this autel 808ts change a mileage on a car?
Junk. Just bought MaxiPro MP808Z-TS. Did all the updates. Can't read 0r diagnose my 2010 Honda Ridgeline, or my 2017 Acura MDX. I won't even try my 2020 Ford F450. Already requested return with Amazon. Autel does not communicate well with the device, drops characters when typing data, wears you out dealing with the device. I'm anxious to return this junk to Amazon tomorrow.
