Hi friends, it was awesome to share the stage, although tiny and triangular, with our new brothers in Train. Back to back gigs on Jimmy Kimmel Live and the iconic Whiskey A GoGo on the Sunset Strip, plus a three hour sit-down story-session with Patrick Monahan and me, was a great way to announce our Summer Road Trip Tour.
So many times you come to the last week of a long tour, after slowly but surely meeting and getting to know your tour-mates, and everyone asks themselves, “Why did we wait so long to hang out together?” Well, for this tour with Train we got right down to it. I am already feeling like this tour is gonna be one for the ages!
Our buddy Sammy Hagar introduced Patrick and me at his Acoustic for a Cure charity event last year, and that organic meeting has led to this unique and interesting tour partnership. It reminds me of how a chance meeting between Tommy Shaw and me turned into a twenty-five year love-fest between our bands. That is how it is supposed to be, and the audiences are the ultimate winners when the bands are friends. So come on out and join the fun on the 2024 REO/Train Summer Road Trip Tour, or as Jimmy Kimmel calls it, the WagonTrain Tour! Either way, it’s gonna be a night of hit songs, great production, and surprises! … kc

They were awesome, live at our Downstream Casino near Joplin Missouri. What a fantastic performance. They put their heart and soul into their music and it really shows. Thank you REO Speedwagon for being one of the best examples of showmanship and decency.❤

Seen them at the surf ballroom in clear lake iowa reo put on one heck of a show still rockin their music today just like i was in my teen years now I'm 46 and love them just as much now as i did then

My favorite REO Concert of all time? August 2nd, 1981- "Day On The Green", Oakland, CA- When they headlined- Kansan, UFO, Gamma, & .38 Special, opened the show.
I saw them there in 1980 as well? But that '81 concert.. just felt like it was the, "WE MADE IT" show.... even though, as far as I was concerned, they already had. Great times.

My wife and I were highschool sweethearts back in the 80's. We shared your cassette tapes with our friends who's parents couldn't afford them for their children. We grew up through highschool and beyond. She went her way and I went mine. Unbeknownst to us that we would only hook back up 30 yrs later. As a stupid fool that I was, I don't know why I ever let my angel go. Guess it was meant to be, I went on to have a family of my own in another state than I grew up in. Now that we have found one another again after all that time. She went on to be a nurse and i became a heartbroken asshole in search of her. Fast forward 30 yrs, circa 2010. We've been together ever since. She always loved her profession as well as taken care of her peeps. But now that she has come down with breast and brain cancer herself. And mind you, she still works as a nurse till this day. As much as she/we love your music. Would it be too much to ask of ya. If she/we can somehow get vip/backstage passes at your spartanburg concert 03/29? It would mean the World to her if that can happen.

50 years later and the music of the 70s and 80s is still getting radio play, that was back when they wrote their own songs, back when they played instruments, today's stuff doesn't even come close to what music was back then, have you ever heard the word respect, that's something this me me me entitled generation knows nothing about. It's called loving what they do, amazing, they're still more relevant than you'll ever be
Listening on radio etc is very different than seeing them in concert. They sound and look horrible in concert. So things have an age limit.
