My wife and I just returned from Knoxville TN to watch REO and Rick Springfield opened up for them...INCREIBLE SOUND...both bands still had AWESOME VOICES!!! Was the best night plus I got to check off one of the boxes on my wife's bucket list!!! Guys if you do this...be sure to get a room at a ritzy hotel (we did the Hilton) to finish off the night. We've been married 31+ years and after the concert was 'as awesome' as the concert itself. Turned my lady into a LADY TIGER!!! LOL!!! His son is very nasty, so he was next of kin and took over everything. Gene was 78, but I never thought he would pass away. We had bought a Cadillac and he paid cash for it. I got cancer 5 years ago, and I took my name off. Of course, we never thought to put my name back on. His son said I had lifetime rights to live at the house. He also said he was giving me the car. His father would want that. One day there was a knock at the door, his mother had a new title to the car because he had signed it over to her. I had to turn over the keys. Gene would never have wanted her to have the car. After he did that, I decided I had better move. He had control of the house too. I paid half on the funeral, but he still wanted money for all kinds of things. I had to leave our home and beautiful flowers and our big yard. Then 6 months later my sister passed away. I am pulling myself together, but some days are hard. Life is hard, but family is the main thing. I have a wonderful son and daughter. I can always depend on them. It is hard to lose everything at my age. I will prevail! Sorry but it may help for you to know the story.
