- This morning I posted an old photo to my personal facebook account which showed a men's alligator bracelet. Lots of folks had questions about it because it actually has a metal bracelet inside of it so it maintains it's shape. So, here it is- how to make a bracelet with a metal core.

You are a gem of a guy. You're so humble and a great teacher. I'm new to the art of leathercraft, but so glad I found your channel. I'm making my way through your vids and find them enjoyable and informative. Best wishes from Ireland 😁
Thank you.
I just got all my supplies, two days ago. Now I'm ready to make me some bracelets, and key fobs as well ! Thank you for an amazing video. I'm LOOKING Forward to seeing your other videos ! I really enjoyed this one ! THANK YOU SO MUCH, FOR SHARING IT !!!
very timely find, I was just thinking about making a leather band, Thanks for posting.
I had a watch band similar back in the 80s actually had 2 havnt seen one since.
Thank you thank you thank you for this video. I had seen some pics of finished cuffs in another group and had gotten blanks. Your concise video saved me from trying to figure it out for myself!
You had me at "Scrap to $60.00... great video. I've had the metal stuff for sometime now and you make it look easy enough to give it a go....thanks pal
I don't have your experience level - instead of Novice + 20 years, it's more like Novice + 20 minutes. But I appreciate this video immensely. You gave my favorite kinds of walkthrough. You not only explain every step of what you're doing, but also the *why* of some variations from what others might choose to do.
Keep at it! It's been a while since you posted this, so I hope that whole mess with your social media accounts has been remedied.
Great video! If you know someone who crochets, a 4mm crochet hook works great for going around and getting the seam ready to punch. I used my bone and then finished with the crochet hook!
Nice details, making a project that looks simple come out as a piece of fine jewelry.
That’s a clean shop!
Nice scrap project. Many thanks.
Looks awesome! ✌🏻
Wow! Thanks! Great video!
Great tutorial. Thank you!
I’d like to see this again in a few weeks. Thank you
Like I said, the first scratch or water spot looks bad… but after a few of them it looks AMAZING
I picked up a lot from this video. Very cool stuff too. Thanks for or sharing. And condolences on getting hacked.

Thank you! That is awesome!
Thanks again for another cool video...Hopefully you can get back to where you were before you were hacked!!! Best of luck!!!
Love this
Luv it.....
Great, thanks!
That upclose shot sent me laughing. 😂😂😂😂
I was wondering if anyone would notice!
Get yourself a couple of those puff paint bottles with three needle points from hobby lobby. Use that as your applicator for the tokonole. You'll save yourself from making a mess, or spreading onto the face of the largest, and you'll end up using a lot less product.
I’ve got some, I’ll try it out, thanks
Well I think after a few bevys I may have liked a cow once or twice 😂😂😂 great job as always az 🤙
Sweet....!
I sand my edges to 1200 grit on a lot of my products. When finished sanding, they're just about burnished. But then add the tokonole and the finished edge is smoother than smooth, shines like a mirror.
Thanks boss
Hi Aaron...I enjoy watching you, great work. Were can you find those pliers to buy? the one you used to make sure the glue was good to the edges of the metal piece!
I’ll see if I can find them, they were sent to me as a sample from a company. We sell a similar set on our site.
Round the outside round the outside 😂😂😂
Worth noting is that some metal “bone” folders can stain the leather. A plastic or Teflon is less likely…I have found.
Aaron, are you saying you didn't have a full backup of your phots and your contacts or, that it's taking you a long time to restore what you have backed up? Being a business I can't imagine you don't have your system doing a constant, daily backup. If that was the case have you gotten your IT guy to set up "OneDrive" or something similar plus a quick swap portable drive that can be quickly unplugged and a new, empty drive plugged in to replace the full drive. That way you have everything on a cloud location as well as a pair of quick swap drives in your desk drawer that you can keep overwriting "just in case" something happens to the "OneDrive" system which is very unlikely. I keep both systems going so there is nothing that can go too far wrong and the cost is so cheap for a small business there is no other option.
Love it! Do you sell your cuffs? Thks Mrs.B
I never have. Generally I just make stuff for friends or for doing these videos.
Hello, loved the video. Question, what if anything can I do for resist that puddled up on project and dried in some spots please?🫨
You can try to clean it away with deglazer.
Your a pro Aaron, that likes to lick cow hide!! (LOL) take care be safe brother 🤙👊
What width are those steel blanks? Perfect Idea for a fun day in the shop!
I’ve found them in several widths. This one is about 3/4”. I think it’s 20mm.
@@makersleathersupply1220 I went to Home Depot and asked if I could have the heavy duty banding used to secure their stone products to their pallets...I was able to walk out with about 15' for free ~ I've made 2 bracelets so far ~ works beautifully!!!
@@markolson7877 what a great idea!
19:05 Great job! Where did you get your forks and corner bending tools? Those from minute 12' and 19', thank you!
Pricking irons from www.makersleathersupply.com.
The bracelet bender is easy to find at most craft stores or amazon
Hii, where can I buy this piece of metal? Thanks
What thickness of leather did you use? I used 2-3 oz (veg tan) and it seems much thicker than yours. Also thank you for the sewing lessons in one of your other videos. Really helped a lot. Thanks.
2/3 works great. I've also made them from 4/5
Yours is similar to the one made by Corter Leather a few years ago
Hello thank you for this
How would I make it wider? Could I use 2 blanks do you think?
I wouldn't use 2 blanks. However they make bangle cuffs in all kinds of sizes, flatten one out and cover it.
What size are the stitching chisels? I heard you say the thread was .8mm but I didn’t hear you say the size of the chisels.
They are 8 stitches per inch
Thank you!
Was this sewn on a sewing machine?
No, it was sewn by hand
If I don't have stainless steel could I use copper or brass?
I'm sure that would be fine
You may need to start selling them finished and unfinished
Cool I watched someone else. Like your way better. Going to go make one I ordered a bunch of sleeves.
