I love that they included this. And i love that over top of this everything else tries to be so realistic its like the best of both worlds. They easily could have played it safe and just did the space game and had everything be grounded in reality, which it still is outside of this, but they took the chance and added this supernatural thing to it. It basically fixes every problem i have with star wars while keeping concepts of it that i actually liked like this type of power system. As someone that wants to be a writer and literally has these kind of ideas for stories it all just hits home so much for me and inspires me. The game has its flaws its not perfect by any means but conceptually its like this game was ripped right out of my head and made for me.
Modders are going to have a field day with this. 😂
How long do you think it will be before a mod adds in the shouts?

Do you upgrade these over time, or is this it? Im thinking like in Skyrim how each shout has 3 words that increase the power. Iykyk
Nope, no upgrades for it.
@@GamersPreyApparently, once you find the same ability, it get upgrade. Like shorter, cool down or. Have to cost.

Can you equip multiple powers at once or favorite them like weapons? Or are they like Shouts in Skyrim?
From what I’ve read you can only equip one power at a time
They are treated like shouts and you can add/favourite them to your d-pad "bar"
@@BB-xy8wt they run off mana right? Is they’re a way to get more mana maybe your armor or leveling a certain skill

Without saying too much, these dudes eventually start attacking you and when you kill them you get an "essence" that makes your "mana/power" recharge a little bit faster. The max "mana" is 60 with the highest abilities costing 45 to use.
Also forgot to add the you start at 60 "mana" from the moment you get your first power
Edit: For the "essence" you have to select it from the powers screen. There is a little blurb in the bottom left that tells you what it does (60 seconds of quick mana recharge and makes you glow and glitter)

Would have liked to have seen what these look like in first person. The special effects seem to look too similar for some of these.
OK, I've enjoyed someone's review of powers but I'm confused because I just did the deep temple where I fought against the hunter... yeah anyway I killed him, the ambassador gave me her artifacts, and Vlad left the eye but I am missing 9 powers, I have no clue what I did wrong and how I am actually supposed to get all the powers, any help greatly appreciated. Even if I broke this run because I took the item from the buried temple and now it is impossible to get all the powers? Anyway, I would love a push in the right direction.
Found the answer, Z1 Gaming posted a video about this issue and how to continue on after getting all the pieces if interested you should check it out, I tested it and it works, but now I need a ship with a jump range of 28 which I currently do not have, but if I get some more modding done I should be able to get ship design levelled up so I can put in a C engine and a c Grave Drive and then I should be good it's midnight now so I'm gonna watch a TV show and try and unwind, good luck and have fun.
Grav dash was immensely disappointing.

Any tip on how to unlock Phased time?
Most people don't have this info yet but the max power level for each power is 10 which is X in the game
Ik i can upgrade then via playing new game plus everytime but how do you know that 10/X is the max level?
I unlocked 23 powers, but Vlad does not have any more hint for me, and i still miss parallel self, any idea about how to get it?
EDIT: i started ng+ and could unlock the last one with Vlad quests.
In the end you can upgrade them all by doing ng+ runs

how did you get supernova. I've beaten the game without putting the artifacts in my drive to not go into NG+ yet and vlad has stopped giving me locations. It says I have 4 undiscovered but ik one is from the barrett quest. The only power I'm missing is super nova any suggestions?

How do you get Parallel Self?
I also need to figure this out! I've completed the main story and began a bit of new game + but don't want to delve too deep into it if I have to go back and grab the missing power but can't work out if it's intentional or not. The dude who normally points to the temples just says he's got nothing left for me even at the end of the main story with 24 artifacts.
What’s the point of the precognition power ?
Most of these powers seem to be very weak and ambiguous in their effects. Air bubble and gravity pull are the most useful to me.
They remind me a lot of Mass Effects Biotic powers in a good way. Love it!
HAHHAHA I was gonna say the same, The whole game reminds me of MEA but in a good way
And I am glad to see some of these powers are designed realistic and functional, unlike ME's biotic powers which do crazy damage and allow you to wipe out enemies single-handedly.

What does the earthbound do? "change your gravity around you to Earth"
Some planets will have lower gravity so you move a bit slower on foot and jump higher/get more distance with boost packs, earthbound sets it so that the gravity acts like earth's. It doesn't seem all that useful to me
Is a pure mage build even viable?
I’m 8 hrs in with a somewhat mage build (only unlocked 3 abilities) it’s damn good

You're basically a Space God. Pretty cool, even if it's a blantant copy of skyrim's shouts.
In Skyrim, you could be a Shout Master and default any enemy with it and basic weapons. This looks like more an extra. I hopefully wait to then to create more power in the future to give us the possibility to make power combos and be like a "Power Master".
Yeah, the Powers are lacking in game. Not gonna lie, I am kinda disappointed. I expected more impact full powers that look powerful and devastating, can't say I see this with these powers.

I am assuming it helps when you’re actually sneaking. Stealth in Skyrim and fallout is binary, either you’re crouching and stealth is applied, or you’re standing and everyone can see you no matter what

how to unlock Supernova???
You need to find the other temples. Go to the eye surrounding New Atlantis and it will have it pop up as a mission.
