I could be wrong but I think the 2022 lap time is so slow because the track was still drying. I remember a few people in Q2 made the mistake of switching to softs while the track was still faster on intermediates

@@husseinyatim He aint wrong bout that fact, but still POLE is POLE... fastest lap on q3. Either everyone made the same mistake, or Ferrari and RB where just 3 tyre compound over the rest...

The 2016 vs 2013 one was interesting. I thought the 2013 cars would take the cake, but the acceleration from the 2016 cars are incredible. You can see Rosberg gaining around 2 tenths from the straights alone.
And rosberg had more grip because of the hypersoft

The fact that the sound of the 2013 V8 Red Bull is so much more prominent than the rest...
Keep in mind that 2022's track was still wet at that time so all cars couldn't drive with full power and grip
That acceleration gap from 2013 to 2016 is insane

the 2018 cars had the best aero out of all of these. they had the most advanced and complicated aero in F1. compared to 2022 now aero regs are much more strict so aren't as advanced as the 2018 cars.
Nah the track was wet
2018 cars had fat tyres (like today's cars).
they also had hypersofts which are faster than today's C5 tires but I might be wrong

2022 is on a crossover between wet and dry, so it is slower then the others cars
2018’s merc was a real MONSTER in this track aproximately 4.5 seconds faster than the 2nd and 3rd classified!🥶
out of all these laps 2018 is the best
Seb’s 2015 pole was on par if not better. He destroyed the simulation time and nearly a sec faster than his teammate

Oh my god Lewis time ! Even the soo called most dominant driver max/ and car rbr18 didn’t beat that record
Sure lewis lap time was incredible ( as it is the current lap record of the track ) but you have to remember that 2022 singapore was in wet condition that's why they had absolutely no chance of getting near that lap time.
I'm not saying Max would beat the lap time if it was dry i'm just saying in wet condition it was impossible to reach lewis' time.
Final point the rb18 isn't the most dominant car the mclaren mp4/4 is as the rb 18 got 77% percent of race win which is way lower than the 93% percent of the mp4/4

2022 Cars are trash.
That quali lap was done on a somewhat wet track which explains why its so much slower
The track wasn't dried out completely so the grip level was low. The fastest lap on the race the day after was 3 seconds faster
