UnitedMasters does allow you to make a profile for free but you will have to pay for uploading songs. Also, UnitedMasters does have a “SELECT” membership that is available but it’s $59.00 yearly and that allows such perks as; giving you 100% of your royalties, getting your song(s) on TikTok and instagram, etc.
So if you upload a song and all you have to do is wait 2 days will it just not go thru ? Or would go eventually
Well it depends on when you set your release date for with your song.
A week and a half is the fastest that your music can be uploaded?
Technically it’s 1-7 days for most platforms but I would recommend setting your releases AT LEAST 2 weeks out because some platforms are slow to receive your music.

As soon as the song released, it created my profiles on Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL, etc.
Does TikTok pop up as well how do I get my song on TikTok ??
what about when uploading/releasing a Clean & Explicit version of the same song?
I would upload both separately and select the option for clean or explicit when it asks you before uploading that way you have both released on all platforms.

I keep getting an error message telling me that my track title has to be the same as my release title. They are the same. Why doesn't it let me submit the music is it because I'm using my phone do I have to use a computer? Somebody please tell me I'm on iPhone 14 iOS man.😢
You may have to use the computer to do it man. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common issue with UnitedMasters.

Not as of yet man, especially on UnitedMasters. You would have to re-upload the album with all songs on there.

Unfortunately UnitedMasters doesn’t have this function yet. DistroKid does though.

The video is just starting before I leave this comment so I don’t know if you’re gonna cover this but how do you put Info in to make sure that it shows up on both artists Apple Music in Spotify and other streaming service pages as well when there’s a featured artist
It’ll only show up on your profile as a “featured artist”. The other person has to feature you on their profile if you want it to show up on theirs.

if we used a beat that said (free) on it, do we have to worry about getting copyrighted
If you didn’t credit that producer and you didn’t get the song published, then you may still get a copyright claim on your song on certain platforms.

No, only an account on the distributor you are using.
What’s the fastest you uploaded a single or how long did it take to release a song I’m trying to drop one tomorrow within a day too
It depends on the platform man but I would recommend giving your release at least 2-3 weeks ahead of time a release because certain platforms may take longer to put up your song.
What does price mean? Also Where it says add IRSC. Don't we get that once the Distro releases our song?
UnitedMasters charges monthly/annual for you to use their service. Also, do you mean ISRC?

Unfortunately many distributors post an artist’s music on their own CZcams channel instead of yours, so when you release a song just make sure you manually upload it to your CZcams channel after the release. Distributors right now don’t have a way for you to connect your CZcams channel to your profile or claim it on your account. Hopefully soon they will come out with a feature, but right now you’ll have to upload it manually. Hope this helps!
Everytime i try to release a single it says "It appears that your release contains trademarked names in one or more of the following fields: Main Artist, Featured Artists, Songwriters, Producers" and all my info is correct what should i do,

The audio that you are uploading is supposed to be the mastered version.

I’m pretty sure they are referring to the same audio man. They make sure that the “Mastered” version is populated and has those changes made when it is distributed.

@@prodclubbah Awesome! Yeah, UnitedMasters unfortunately works better sometimes through the phone in certain areas compared to the desktop.
Do you have to use real name for writers of you have bmi and everything or can you still use artist name?
You can still use their artist name but just make sure you use their correct email 📧 address and that they are aware of it. Also, I’d advise you to get your songs registered to BMI or ASCAP as well.

You don’t have to, but I always do for level purposes so people will know. For instance, the best way to do it in my opinion is John “Jacey Flames” Doe.

No, it shouldn’t.

@@AnassGameplay If you are temporarily banned from posting music United Masters shouldn’t take your earnings. Also, I don’t think you’ll be able to withdraw your earnings until you are able to post music again. If you are, then I would as soon as possible.

It won’t because it will ask you for you to sign in so it can distribute to Spotify and Apple Music for you. So, I would advise claiming your profiles on there before you do that.

@@apoorvsinghsamant6939 It may create a brand new profile for you on Spotify or Apple Music if you do not have any profiles yet on those. After they are created, you will have to then claim them.

It should say in the contract when you buy it on BeatStars.

You have to connect your PayPal account in order to upload your music using UnitedMasters so you can pay for their membership.

You should be able to. UnitedMasters still has this in Beta and so does DistroKid so I’m not yet too sure how it works, but once I found soon I will make a video about it.

Yes, that is correct! After they create it for you when you release your first song or songs then you can claim it.

@@Shaykoo Then you won’t have a profile yet. The distributors create the profile for you when you release your first song(s) on those platforms. After that, then you can claim them individually for each platform. I made videos on how to do so on my channel as well. Does that make sense?

@@Shaykoo I’m saying that the distributor (in this case UnitedMasters) creates the profile for you, then you can connect it to your profile. The way they create it is by releasing your first song(s) on a new profile, then when you claim it you can connect it & edit it.

How to upload song lyrics
Unfortunately, UnitedMasters doesn’t offer lyrics as an option for anyone to add to their songs with their plans. Other platforms like DistroKid does though.

Yes, I have other videos on my channel that show you how to claim your profiles on a few platforms once the Distributor creates those profiles for you & I also have one talking about how to claim your profile on CZcams where you connect it to your channel as well.

Your track has to be an mp3 file or a wav. file and there is no way to share songs from SoundCloud to UnitedMasters because UnitedMasters is a distributor and SoundCloud is just a music platform. Hope that makes sense man.

I don’t know how you would let’s say you have a song that was only created on GarageBand specifically iPhone but you can’t send it to your computer and you have to have as mp3 because on GarageBand it is already compressed to zip do you know how to do that if that made any sense

No. You can only monetize your CZcams channel when you have 1k subscribers and 40,000 hours watched.

UM have you reported the money in June, have they paid yet?
I’ve received my money yes. If you are having problems with PayPal, I would switch out the setting to wire transfer payouts straight to your bank instead of PayPal to avoid any issues.

How do you upload to your CZcams?
There should be an option on UnitedMasters when you are uploading and setting your song(s) up for a release date, but you will have to claim your CZcams channel first. UnitedMasters doesn’t yet have that option to claim your CZcams channel on their platform, but DistroKid does.

@@Franko250 After you upload your music to a distributor like UnitedMasters and set a release date for your music to be released, then the distributor (UnitedMasters) will create your Spotify profile for you and then you have to claim it.

I always recommend DistroKid because of their updated features and their customer service is always quick to answer & help artists. They are always updating their platform and they also have a really good affiliate program.

I wish man but no, I’m using the free version. UnitedMasters only offers free distribution to Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, CZcams, and SoundCloud but if you want to distribute to more stores the SELECT version is $59.99 for a yearly subscription.
