And ace didn't even go in to meet his parents like he has Been Bern looking for family his hole life and not realising he always had them and his dog reminded him of that and then he doesn't meet his parents from this reincarnation like he didn't come out of no where he has two other parents million of them in fact and he doesn't go in to meet them showing he didn't learn anything

The fibal Episode of Geats actually shows Keiwa and others still knowing of the Desire Grand Prix though, they just didn't have the belts until later

I think the gotchard and geats crossover was really emotional for me as it was the first fan screening I saw in theaters this year actually with my sister and I thought it was a really good movie and the scene with geats and his dog Constantine was really heartbreaking cause I was like “ Oh hell nah , Toei “ John Wicked “ my kitsune mewing streakers dog twice , why Toei !!!!, just the my man Ace be happy!!!” and the movie has a great score and while I do agree with some of the things in this video review of the film , I still love it near and dear to my heart and the backstory of X Wizard also gave me a lil heartbreak as it also coveys the downside of Chemy law when it comes to the co- existence of humans and chemies , also we Gyatt Tom Constantine in the movie!!!!!!, plus Star gotchard is one of my favorite suits of the movie and I think we should have explored a little more with Aces backstory with the guy who became the geats Malgam ( sorry forgot his name) …. So yeah that’s my thoughts on the film
Yeah Majade absolutely came out of nowhere. Her cards are just introduced out of nowhere, her dream dad somehow gives her powers, and then she magically gets a driver. And the main plot with the villain was kind of dumb.
What I do like about this movie is it made Houtaro more tolerable to me. I personally just find him really annoying in the actual show, but in this movie it works because he has Geats to play off of. Houtaro’s idiocy is complimented by Ace’s competency and it’s fun seeing Ace mess around with Houtaro a bit and straighten him out a little. It makes me wish Gotchard had a character like that in the show itself, like an actually competent mentor for Houtaro.
it would of been fun to see someone be more of a mentor to houtarou ngl 💀 but at the same time i felt like him learning on his own throughout the whole series and becoming more tamed a bit more serious like in this final arc is something i really love because i always like that type of character development and growth, especially for a character like houtarou because he goes from just some random high school kid to figuring out what it means to be a kamen rider and how he can protect both humanity and chemy for his goal of peace and unity, i guess since i am in high school as well houtarou as an mc is so good to me and sticks with me a lot because of that growth it inspires me a lot. (sorry for the paragraph tho)

Gotchard & Geats crossover movie was very emotional and funny for me
The show did rinne so bad script wise. Honestly, the villain role she audition for last year for geats is more memorable. There are a lot of cool visuals, but there is just too much inconsistencies and expect audience to just ignore it. Somehow, the older winter movies that divided each movie in to 3 or more parts end up being more entertaining and made more logical sense.
Thinking about this, this is coming from us getting rough crossovers like Geats and Revice.
But also to answer your question, they got their memories back in Jyamato Awakening.
Also, Geats Oneness was a excluaive form to Ace Of Heart, Thomas...like...it was erased after the worls was fixed....did you watch 4 Aces and The Black Fox ?
i know gotchard isn't a perfect season but i do like it for what it is and i think this crossover is okay to say the least Really Gotchard is much like Ghost a season thats divided between some like it and some hate it i like it since after geats a small scale story is fine plus im a sucker for card collecting and i plan to get the nijigon cards and attchemnt buckle all in all good movie could be better
same here i really love gotchard it’s definitely not perfect i can see why people don’t like it, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but for me the enjoyment of the series, gimmick, and cast is what makes me like it so much, a smaller scale story isn’t new to kamen rider so it never bothered me because personally i really like smaller scale stories that are mainly character driven with the characters developing and the actors developing alongside their character that they portray than plot driven if that makes sense
I thought the movie was fun and really did like most of the scenes in it. I agree with your opinions on Licht though and I also was questioning how he even knew about Ace reincarnating. But I personally liked the movie it’s an overall 7/10 for me.
I am on a rerun marathon of Gotchard just before the last few episodes of the season come out, and I just finished this movie.

- Honestly, the first half of the movie was enjoyable, it was like an extended episode of Gotchard catching all the Lv. 10 Chemies, while having the Geats Cast on to interact with the Gotchard cast, it was fun to see everyone interacting and had lots of memorable moments
- Action wise, I really enjoyed watching the fight scenes, it was so intense seeing them and all the suits were great, I remember how awesome it was seeing Majade and Star Gotchard debuting, but a bit shame that they could’ve had more potential in the movie with their fights
- The plot line for Houtarou and Ace did feel strange for me, I agree that it felt that the two had very contrasting plot lines that didn’t click with me initially, but I can let it slide cause it wasn’t a big issue
- I didn’t really like the main villain story, I had a feeling that X-Wizard wasn’t gonna be the main villain coming to this, so the redemption of it didn’t surprise, but I was a little disappointed that the evil guy from Gotchard just turns out to be a “DGP Participant” in the past from Geats and was defeated by Ace, so he came back as an Alchemist, he really felt like he could’ve had potential for smth deeper

I would love to see the Star Gotchard and Gotchard MarsPhoenix forms appear in Gotchards remaining episodes so we get to see more fight scenes involving these two forms and what they're able to do in action
It’s very good movie but i agree with Thomasjujube, why Gotchard with (New Form) did not do the fight Geats Killer scene before Doing the CGI Stuff, it doesn’t make any sense with this fight scene
maybe is too complicated fight in a suit with an already complicated design
Mixed feelings with this crossover which kinda stinks because I was looking forward for this one.
I do like the first half instead of riders being all buddies in beginning, Houtaro is jealous and pissed at Ace for being too good and smug.
I also like how Ace care about Kon way more than the guy who spend his whole life to defeat Ace and weirdly try to fight Ace when he’s god instead of his other reincarnations

4:24 they don’t actually get their memories back in the stage show, the stage show just explains why they have their memories, which is: they touched their ID cores, so they got their memories back, since tycoon got his ID at the end of geats, that means he got is memories by then
I hope Geats Killer gets reused as Another Geats one day if they decide to do a Zi-O thing in the future cause it would just be a waste of a good suit to me
This movie was okay, it didn't dilly dally to make the two Riders team up, but it wasn't all that exciting either. The action was good, and I liked the character interactions in hunting down the Level 10's.
After that though, it did fall apart for me. The final fight felt way too short and rushed.
The ending made me cry though. Overall, a solid 6.5/10.
The end credits with the song kinda made me teary eye knowing this will prob be the last time we see the geats cast in awhile

Technically both the vcin and gazer spin off happen after this so this wasn't the last time. And canonically Geats cast stole Gotchard's spotlight again in a liveshow recently (and they roll called so obviously peak geats post series even if no actors came back)

It feels weird to hear ace call hotaro just "hotaro". I thought he call him by using the rider name which is "gotchard" instead just like he called ikki "revi". Plus, I kinda wish they included super gotchard in this crossover (lowkey to see xrex and gyago together if you know the references)

the movie overall was decent to me wasn’t amazing but definitely wasn’t bad, the 3 parts of the movie dragged it down for me a bit only because every time it felt like it was ending just more stuff happens which i found kinda funny and i didn’t really care about the main villain ngl, but the crossover itself was good, a pretty fun crossover between geats & gotchard both series that i love and enjoyed watching, the action was good, the character interaction were interesting for both comedic and serious/emotional scenes, majade debut was awesome, and the final fight was pretty good just wish it was a bit longer so that star gotchard got to do way more, but overall wasn’t a bad movie.

You’re very late to reviewing the geats movies. The movie felt so disjointed that it felt like two separate movies in one. At first, there the whole catching the legendary Pokémon concept that ends with a dream about completing the pokedex. The other geats rider end up as chemy almost as if they can’t paid them or there is some sort of schedule conflict. Then it became a revenge story from the alchemist that played one of the early villain in blade. I felt they wasted too much time in the first half. There’s some fun comedic moments, but can be shorten. Very worry gavv might repeat gotchard mistake.
i definitely agree that the movie was a bit disappointing because it felt like 3 separate episodes into 1 movie, pretty good crossover tho in the first half maybe because i love geats & gotchard, majade henshin and fight was good, and the final fight with geats & gotchard was good too, but the comedic aspect of it definitely needed it because the rest of the movie most likely would of been too serious and too emotional for the kids who are watching, also what mistake has gotchard made? is it being too comedic/lighthearted? like no hate or anything just curious

@@thomasjujube it’s CZcams basic to review the movie early to make sure the maximum amount of people will care to watch it before it becomes old news if you want to actually grow a CZcams channel nowadays under all these competitions.
@@dwaynewilson8919 in fairness, it’s a movie from japan that’s not very accessible in the west and we had to wait for blu ray to come out and a fan group subtitles to watch it.
Plus it’s not a goddam MCU movie where people had to immediately review as soon as possible

A lot of toku movies is released on streaming nowadays first, so they don’t even need to wait for the physical copies to come in anymore like the kingohger vs Kyoryuger movie. A lot of CZcamsrs reviewed them already and fans are more willing to watch your review and discuss it only when you’re consistent. CZcams prioritize and reward that.
The movie is....... mediocre at best. The plot of the movie is like hey its about to end then you realize there are 15 minutes left, then suddenly surprise villain and somehow houtaro felt like a different character at the beginning

I saw some spoilers and decided to not touch thiis movie with a 10 foot pole. Ace with a dog? Bro wtf 😭?
It feels like everything Gotchard does is 1/2 baked. Geats characters were the only part of the movie I enjoyed / found engaging but that's because I enjoyed their show so much. Rinne getting rider form was fantastic, but as you mentioned it should have been it's own plot.
I just watched this movie a couple of nights ago and I really agree with feeling that something felt missing. It felt like some gotchard episodes with geats slapped on. It didn't feel like a good crossover to me. I will explain my problems with the movie below:
I was watching this movie with my sibling and jokingly made comments during the movie, like "oh no, my dead dog" when kon died and it turned out to be true which had me and my sibling bursting out into laughter. This goes to the part that Geats' inclusion in the movie felt forced.
The villain being someone ace defeated in the past gave the geats cast a reason to be there, but it didn't really feel well executed. Even if the villain he managed to live that long with alchemy, how would he know Ace would love that long?
This is not a good crossover in my eyes. I'd like a crossover to tell a meaningful story with good reasons for the different shows casts to be there. This was just a way to quickly go past the 10 chemy plotline while starting the trend of multiple kamen riders in gotchard (dread doesn't count because it's usually a mindless villain and legend was in a web special in it's own dimension).
An example of a good crossover is the geats and revice movie. The movie opens with a revice story to establish how the characters are now, who the villains are, and a nice transition into the geats part. Now when geats is having their plot it makes sense for their show and it makes sense why the revice riders are there. The geats riders in the gotchard movie would have been better if we had a bit more time to explain why they were there in the actual movie rather than just having the stage show.

I wasn’t a big fan of the movie. I agree a lot of the points this review had in that there wasn’t much consistency in all of the plot points. The capturing the level ten Chemies had some promise to build off both the Gotchard and Geats casts backgrounds to actually get the chemies and they only really did that with Exceed fighter and the rest were just either beaten and captured or just became friends with. But I really do question why even make the Geats riders Chemies at all and even capture the level ten Chemies just to release them and make them capture them, seems like a disadvantage to give your enemies the power to possibly beat you. Also the idea of a past participant being the villain is interesting but I also don’t understand how he knew that Ace could reincarnate and why he just didn’t make the entire cast Chemies, absorb X Wizard, then absorb all the cast and the rest of the world. You’d have the power of the 101th Chemy, desire god powers, and six level ten Chemies. You wouldn’t even need to do this whole movie’s plot and just absorb them all from the get go. But in the end the whole Kon Geats chemy thing was cute and heart wrenching but I wish they really did add on more about it

This movie wasn't it, straight up bored geats crew and the alchemist there was for me at least little to no real connection at all once everything once done they went see you around then went away this movie could have well been a standard Gotchard movie tbh since it heavily involves the collection of the LV10 chemies that said though kind of disappointing that geats didn't use oneness in the final battle but at the same time is there ever a time that movie exclusive form ever get used again

the movie was just mid, much like the series at this point. they have one moment where it's like setting up for something but then just never used it really well at all. like the season's current arc is spanner is fighting with hotarou just because really. I really just watch this movie because i just wanna see fubuki voice acting and that's it
it’s fine to call the series mid that’s your opinion and that’s how you feel it’s not a series everyone can enjoy, but houtarou and spanner are not fighting just because, they have always had clashes with their ideals on humanity and chemies they just put it aside most of the time because they share a common enemy even sometimes being brought up while fighting some enemies but that clash has always been there since houtarou and spanner met, no hate or anything my fault if it comes off like that
I think they nerfed Ace a ton in this movie, it’s actually frustrating. Where did the benefit of being a God go? First, he was susceptible to becoming a plushie had he not been saved by his dead dog, which by the way was never present in the show. Second, he was portrayed weaker than Kamen Rider Majade who had just received her powers and a complete newbie. Third and finally, this doesn’t relate to his powers, but Ace never showed any emotion almost in the entirety of the movie - all he did was smile smugly from time to time and stay expressionless for the rest. It really feels like a disrespect to his character.
