I’ve been meaning to watch this for a while. I love Brendan’s analogy of same floor. I’ve been married for 10 yrs & I’m not the person I was when we started & neither is hubby so I know how important it is to grow together. From the onset, we instilled the practice of “honestly reflecting together about all aspects of our lives annually (on our anniversary). We started it on our honeymoon so we’ve kept it to our anniversary. It’s a non-judgemental space where the one is given the opportunity to express themselves (what they need & what the other needs to keep doing, stop doing & start doing). It’s not always easy but it helps us to check in & readjust expectations.
What you guys have is amazing...May God continue to bless your marriage.
