Prioritizing myself has been the best thing I did for myself. I used to suffer from depression and that’s because everyone else had to come before me. I was very resentful of others and generally a negative person to be around. My therapist said to me if someone asks you for a billion can you give them. I said to her no I don’t have that money and she said to me yeah you are giving people what you don’t have that’s why you are exhausted. You are not a super human. You are just as important as the people who you want to please

This has helped me so much with my studies, I’ve been pouring so much into my work, sacrificing time with myself, friends and family, that I’ve been miserable and starting to hate what I’m doing. So I’m going to start prioritising myself, my loved ones and get a routine going.

Aiii this was interesting hey. Especially about routines. Lol I am soo not a morning person and been struggling with being a 5am club lol but ever since I left my 8 to 5 job. I have become such a morning person but I think it's like you guy say the stage of the life I'm at now. Because I've found it to be much more beneficial for me to wake up at 5 and pray 6am start cleaning the house. While the kids are still asleep. Haven't been consistent with it past few days and I see that it's struggle if I have to clean the house when the little ones are up. Thank you soo always sharing your stories with us.
